Mamdani: Last year, New Yorkers were asked to make a choice, and many were told that it was a choice between a government that could answer the challenges of today and one that could imagine a better tomorrow. On Steve Jobs and soul and instinct and fear and breaking through: 1. I realized I need to meet people with real talent and then all I gotta do is not get thrown out of the f*cking room. 2. I met with a bunch of tech companies and Steve was the only one that had soul. I told him I wanted to build this headphone company and Steve said: “You can do it.” 3. When I used to run companies I just woke up every day and did everything by my instinct. 4. You don't have to understand something fully to do it. I'm proof of that. I don't understand f*cking anything. But I know how to get things done. I know how to hustle. I'm willing to work harder than the next guy. 5. For a lot of people fear stops them. For the people that succeed, fear propels them forward. You need to learn how to harness fear because fear is energy. 6. Your job is to figure out a way around the gatekeeper. 7. If I see something new and great and unusual, I just can't stop. 8. If you know what you have is going to stick and if you’re passionate about it —then just break through that wall. There’s going to be a lot of resistance. But if it sticks, you win.

There is no such thing has "Islamophobia". If you fear the religion of Islam and the way of life that Islam teaches, implementing things like Sharia law and Jihad you are either uneducated on it or you lack basic critical thinking skills. So no, there's no such thing as Islamophobia. If you don't fear a religion whose holy text teaches you that you should kill nonbelievers if they fight you back, you're not that smart. If you don't fear a religion that teaches you that women are property of men and to be used and disposed, you're not that smart. If you don't fear a religion that has produced extremism because they have interpreted jihad to justify terrorism, you're not that smart. If you follow a prophet who married a 9-year-old when he was 53 years old, and you think that that's okay, you're not that great. In fact, Mohammad only had a hundred followers before he introduced the concept of Jihad, and then he went and executed 900 Jews, and he started the growth of this religion because people didn't wanna die. None of these fears are illogical, which is what a phobia is. If you don't want Sharia law implemented, if you want a separation of church and state, which is something that Islam does not practice and does not teach, if you don't want that, you're not Islamophobic. You don't have an irrational fear. You have a very rational fear. Many Islamic communities believe that women have half of a brain. An example of Sharia Law is if a woman is raped, it has to be witnessed by four other people in a court of law, if the court of law does not find the perpetrator guilty, she can be executed. I'm scared of that, rightfully so. I'm scared of a religion that terrorism comes out of. I'm scared of a religion that does not wanna separate church and state, so there's no such thing as Islamophobia. Because of that would mean it's an irrational fear and there's nothing irrational about fearing Islam.

Do you know anyone who has ever died from tetanus? You’re more likely to win the lottery than dying from tetanus. Unlike many other bacteria, Clostridium tetani (tetanus) cannot survive in oxygen-rich environments, so the old rusty nail is not an issue like we were led to believe. My kids are barefoot 99 percent of the time outside, and I never worry about contracting tetanus. Again, if oxygen can touch it, then there is nothing to fear, and even in the rare case they get a cut from an object that is in an anaerobic environment, then there is usually still nothing to fear. Remember, fear is the fire that fuels the furnace of disease. 😎🪕🇺🇸
