Tamil Nadu is ready to chart a new course... Tomorrow, all our candidates will be filing their nominations, and there is a lot of enthusiasm on the ground. We will certainly defeat the anti-Tamil Nadu, anti-India forces of the DMK and the Congress, and the NDA will emerge victorious, form the next government in Tamil Nadu, and serve the people with welfare and development.

I strongly condemn Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan for his disgraceful remarks calling Tamil Nadu and its people uncivilized. On behalf of the DMK and 8 crore Tamilians, I demand an immediate apology! His words have deeply hurt and pained the people of Tamil Nadu. What right does he have to insult Tamil Nadu, while happily taking its tax revenue, workforce, and contributions to the nation? The BJP government has no problem reaping benefits from Tamil Nadu, yet it repeatedly disrespects its people. We will not tolerate this!

Under the decisive leadership of our Vetri Thalaivar TVK Vijay and the firm guidance of our General Secretary, it has been my proud duty to stand with the people as a representative of TVK. Over the past two years, we have not watched from the sidelines - we have been on the ground, organising welfare initiatives, mass campaigns, and people-centric service camps across Chennai. As we step into the third year, let it be clearly understood: this is no longer preparation - this is movement. The struggle ahead may be long, but we will not pause, we will not retreat, and we will not rest until our Thalaivar, Thalapathy Vijay, takes oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. This is a fight rooted in the will of the people and powered by the dedication of every TVK cadre. I extend my revolutionary greetings to all my fellow party members who have stood firm, fearless, and focused. To the people of Tamil Nadu - wait just two more months. History is about to change. A new chapter is coming, written by your Vijay / Viji. Miles to go. No sleep until victory. #2YearsofTVK

Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi, The tears shed by Indian fishermen from Tamil Nadu, and the anguish they have endured over the years, cannot be captured in words. The sea, their source of livelihood, has become a place of fear and uncertainty due to repeated attacks by the Sri Lankan Navy. Today, the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, constituted by the will and mandate of the people of our state, has unanimously passed a resolution calling for the retrieval of #Katchatheevu to safeguard our historical rights, livelihoods, and access to traditional fishing grounds. We urge you, during your much-anticipated forthcoming visit to Sri Lanka, to firmly demand the release of our detained fishermen, along with their boats, on a goodwill basis.

#WATCH | Chennai | On Congress leaders targeting DMK over boycotting Tamil Nadu CM meeting on delimitation, DMK MP Kanimozhi says, "Unfortunately, I think the Congress has forgotten the history of DMK and Congress in Tamil Nadu. We have stood against the Congress also on many occasions over the past many decades. Every time they try to become a threat to democracy, to our language, to our identity, it has been the DMK that fought against it. We know who has let down the Tamil people, and we know that DMK has always stood with the people of Tamil Nadu, and we will continue fighting. We don't need anybody else to tell us who we are." She adds, "We had passed a resolution in the Assembly, and we had invited Chief Ministers from five different states to participate in the meeting... two Congress representatives were also there at the meeting and accepted the resolution passed... The entire meeting was about fair delimitation, and that is the stand of DMK then; that is the stand of DMK now. We have not changed."

In a shocking display of arrogance and disregard for the people of Tamil Nadu, Modi Govt. Minister Dharmendra Pradhan launched a scathing attack on the state, labeling its citizens "𝗨𝗻𝗰𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱." The people of Tamil Nadu are justifiably outraged by this grave insult, and Congress President Shri Mallikarjun Kharge has demanded the Minister's resignation. This is not only a matter of personal apology but also a call for accountability. Dharmendra Pradhan's remarks are unacceptable and demonstrate a blatant disregard for the dignity and rights of the people of Tamil Nadu. The Minister's statement is a stark reminder of the BJP's disdain for the concerns and aspirations of the people of Tamil Nadu. The people of Tamil Nadu deserve better. They deserve respect, dignity, and a government that listens to their concerns and addresses their needs. Dharmendra Pradhan's remarks are a clear indication that he is unfit to hold public office. We demand justice for the people of Tamil Nadu. We demand an apology and resignation from Dharmendra Pradhan. Anything less would be an insult to the people of Tamil Nadu.

Tamil Nadu has given us great minds like Periyar, Annadurai, Kamaraj, and Kalaignar. It has inspired the fight for social justice in India and around the world. And it will be at the forefront of this battle to save our democracy. Every time I come here, with love and humility, I am awed by its rich history, culture and language. Forget Narendra Modi, no force on this planet can harm the people of Tamil Nadu.
