Sunflower update 🌻 They're growing 💗

I came second in a sunflower growing competition in primary school. The winner was a farmer so felt I was robbed!

Are you giving them some tomatoes food fertiliser so good for them! Although they look like they are doing very well anyway! You may appreciate this lovely connection poem one of my Sunflower group sent me this morning.

Just water them with rain and shower water and that seems to work. Thank you for the poem!

I bet you talk to them too, best thing for them, but I’m just old hippy, so I believe in being kind to all you meet even the flowers hehe! Yes! Lived the poem! Loved the programme going to watch again make the most of it while it’s still on iPlayer.

Can we safely assume the album after Jenius will feature a sunflower related tune?!

They aren’t shy! 😎🌞

Beautiful do you have any gnomes in your garden?

Very impressive

Oooo just while you’re here Paul, is there any chance whatsoever, of you including ‘Pretenders to the Thrown’ and ‘Woman in the Wall’ on the upcoming tour? 🙏🏼

Well done. The squirrels got mine 🐿😂

Beautiful ❤️ mines coming to an end..putting the heads on my bird tables in a week or so 🌻

Love ❤️ a sunflower 🌻

Be very careful with them Paul 😱have you rigged up night cameras 🎥 they look very much like triffids. 😳🫣

Mine never really grow very big at all, what am I doing wrong 🤷‍♀️

Not sure. I'm no expert but I plant them quite late compared to most people and put two seeds together

Very impressive Paul 🥰

Paul, Os seus bebês estão lindos! 🌻

Mine looking a tad sorry for itself. Doesn’t help that the neighbours a bleeding showoff (over the fence, 11ft 6 apparently)

Growing sunflowers must be a Dad thing 🤣 so proud of what is produced 🫣

My favourite flower 🌻

It's sunny innit😉

They are beauties, it’s a therapeutic growing there is definitely something very magical about them xxx

Is there sun in Manchester? 😮🤣🤣

Looking good !

We love them too! Grandson was very poorly when young - doing great now & has green fingers. We loved the documentary ❤️

Ours said giant sunflowers on the packet !! you wouldn't believe that wheelie bin is 9foot tall ! 🙄🤔

So much better than mine this year. Then again, most of them got eaten by slugs months ago 🤦‍♂️

Are you playing Dublin next year?

Its your magic touch !

Mine died last week even though watered in the heat

I'd send you a flower, a sunflower bright 'Cause you cloud my days, messing up my nights

Beautiful 🤩

I saw a cat on here yesterday that steals one every night from neighbours and was caught on camera!Careful paul!

Excellent work

Love sunflowers. Did you know they stop following the sun when in full bloom and all face East? The birds and squirrels will love the seeds.

Mine don't play by those rules 😂 the main ones face north

Did better than mine reached 5 foot and died.

😎🎶

Jennifer Alison Philippa Sue - give them all a name 💕
