They love munching grass. Is that part oat grass? I recall a friend of my father's place near Columbus TX where I went deer hunting the first time in the 80s. He bragged he had so many deer because of the oat grass. Cheers

Around here you seldom see them in daytime. They come out of the woods in the evening and eat people's flowers then return before dawn. Not as bad as the feral pigs, though, which dig in gardens and ruin them.
