I wrecked my eyes so bad playing this on gameboy!!

That music makes my throat tighten up 🥲🥺 I have so many fond memories of the GB era, and especially SML, and the ending theme is likely to makee blubber like a baby

This game was everything for me growing up

Hunted it down for 400 yens !

I don’t care about the graphics… these games were so much fun!

Deep memories on this one. Loved my Gameboy when I was little before the computers and internet was more than a niche nerd hobby and high tech was a dream seen only in spy movies.

There was a cool trick about this game, if you turn off the game boy as soon as you die and turn the game boy back on, you didn’t lose the life…

Meh, looked crap back then, looks crap now. Very few games actually looked decent, on the original Gameboy. Luckily, Tetris was one of them.

the sense of movement in this game--the way everything moves, not just Mario--is unlike any other game ive ever experienced. love this one.

I played the shit out of this on 3 hour trips to Disney World in the early 90s

Game boy ate batteries though. Never enough batteries. The baseball game drove me to madness. I ended up breaking the cartridge so I couldn’t play anymore. It was really hard to break it. lol
