The first time I watched the movie I was like oh shit he’s about to go Ultra Instinct
It's extremely overrated as a solo transformation. Where it shines is in Fusion: Vegito or Gogeta.
They nerfed every transformed in super. The power scaling is to torn to shreds

This is how he should have turned SSJB for the first time… it shows the power and even the struggle just to make the transition to the transformation. SSJ3 demonstrated that the 1st time Goku turned into it
If they took initial SSG abilities (zenkais, healing) and added stuff like the flaming ki being a protective barrier then yes. otherwise this is not the case.
