The automobile manufacturers, as well as the people who service these vehicles, all say there is no difficulty. Why this sudden interest? We have been using E15 (blend of 15% ethanol and 80% petrol) for the last three and a half years. We have been on E20 (blend of 20% ethanol and 80% petrol) since April of last year. From April 2025 to April 2026, it has already been one year, and we are now another five months beyond that. If someone is suggesting E25 (blend of 25% ethanol and 80% petrol), we have made it clear that we are conducting tests. Those tests will take time. Once the reports are available, we will evaluate them. Then we will discuss the findings with the stakeholders and the automobile manufacturers. All those who have suddenly “discovered” problems with their cars and fuel economy may be disappointed to revisit what the UPA itself was saying. The then UPA Petroleum Minister accused the NDA of ignoring the interests of sugarcane farmers and promised Parliament that his government would blend ethanol with petrol. He even urged people to drink less so that more ethanol could be diverted for fuel! So where were all these catastrophic claims about engines and mileage then? Funny how people’s cars never seemed to complain when ethanol blending was UPA policy, but suddenly develop “problems” when the same objective is being implemented today through a phased rollout. The policy isn’t new. Only the politics around it is.

Did Mercedes-Benz India lied publicly or manipulated the press statement slyly to avoid legal. If the BSVI cars are E20 compatible,(i.e. from 2020) then why do Mercedes Benz car manual of pre 2023 states that only to fill E10 petrol and categorically mentions that even " Even small amounts of the wrong fuel could result in damage to the fuel system, the engine and the emission control system". Tehseen Poonawalla is absolutely right & must be supported by everyone univocally on this issue. If you don’t support him, you risk your valuable vehicles which are at risk now. The forced E20 ethanol blending policy has become a textbook case of conflict of interest, lack of transparency, and disregard for the common citizen. How people of India are being treated as Guinea pigs for trials and how their only precious asset a 2,3 or 4 wheeler is risked is appalling, brazen and shames less and that to benefit Mr Gadkari’s son 😡 While Union Minister Nitin Gadkari aggressively pushes mandatory E20 — claiming it helps farmers and cuts imports — his own sons reportedly have direct business interests in ethanol distilleries that have seen massive revenue surges. This is unacceptable. Citizens have every right to choose between E20 and regular petrol. I don't know what dark plans will or won't be allowed to play out before the Shift. Pleiadians have given us clues but only Elder Ikai knows exactly how it all comes together. What I know is that the Shift is assured and we'll be spared from the worst outcomes. The satanic cabal won't be as fortunate. Pleiadians have said that at the Shift the sky will change colors and fill with crafts. They've said that after we ascend, this reality will become very bleak because all the light will be gone.
