#Supergirl is MEDIOCRE!!

James guns Superman was fucking awful and I’m a big Superman fan just didn’t like the way he wrote the movie and the suits and visuals looked hella goofy

This is what happens when DC wants to look like Marvel Nothing new, James Gunn and his crew are here to buried DC And they succeed pretty well

I'm a huge DC and have been my whole life. I just watched the 2025 Superman movie and it was absolutely trash. James Gunn is ruining DC. We had so many great DC movies 2005-2020 . Batman Begins, Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises, Man of Steel, and WW . Now its all trash!

Every movie doesn't have to be The Dark Knight.....Most people are saying Supergirl is either good or "fine" and that's ok....I'm excited for Supergirl and I'm loving how the DCU is shaping up so far.

feels as if James is following a model that would have made these comic films successful in 2013 but we've evolved past that and need films that take more risks imo

James gunn movies are corny, and the action scenes are mid tbh. He could’ve still made it with t he corniness and still make great action scenes, thats a double negative. Glad u told us I wasn’t going to watch it anyway, bring Snyder back. Hell even animated version not this 🌽

Man I’m so gutted to hear this. I’ve been looking forward to it and booked many showtimes. Now I just feel like canceling my tickets and not let myself be disappointed ☹️ 🥺💔

Too many of my favs like yourself are saying the exact same thing. Everyone was like it’s not a bad movie, but it’s just mediocre or ok.

If you thought Superman was just okay then I’m sure I’ll like this one too. Either way I’m supporting everything DC that comes out. We need to see more of these storylines and characters

When actors attach thier pathetic ideologies and personal woke views to a character it destroys the film! Let alone attack fans that didnt even ask for a supergirl movie.

Probably a sign that I will love it. Superman just being okay in your eyes makes sense but for me who wanted the character to go back to being Superman and not Homelander, it was great. This movie all I need it to do is push the universe forward and add more world building

I don't understand why people thought James Gunn would fix DC. He was a B-movie director before Marvel approached him to do Guardians. He hit lightening in a bottle with Guardians but it wasn't even his idea. Everything he's done outside Guardians has been mid, at best.

Mediocre superhero movie??? Gasp ::clutches pearls:: I’ve never heard of such a thing. I better go on X and shit on this actress, women in general and people who support women because a mediocre superhero movie with a man has never been made.

The reason it was avg (which is being generous), is because of Gunn. He caters to the DC Gunn fan boys, and that’s it. His films all look the same, play the same, and aren’t anything special.
