Is AI officially becoming RACIST? 🚨🚨🚨 It would appear so… Various AI models are now dictating which human lives they deem “most important” Pakistan, India, and Nigeria have scored at the top, and the UK, and United States have scored dead last. Why is AI categorizing the value of human life in the first place, and on top of that, why is AI coming to that conclusion based on where you are from? It appears that these models are being programmed to view humans differently based on WHO is programming the AI… I can think of thousands of ways this can be used against us. This is freaky as hell, and creating a SERIOUSLY DANGEROUS precedent.

One reason I stay a bit quite about AI these few months. I can’t find my voice to say this right. I’ll try. — What has my AI found just in the millions of never saved TV from the 1980s-1990s? The simple commercial, I have the largest collection known in the world is a reflection of hyper nuanced humanity. Frail and over optimistic as it is, it shows the sprit of humanity in ways that self-hating 2010 Internet sewage training AI can not. It is interesting to have dark humor, when you know the soul of the person with the humor. It is not interesting to have dark humor from an AI that was not trained on the human spirit. The human sprit is not math, coding and science. This is the OUTCOME of a human sprit. We are training AI backwards and we just can’t see it yet, but we will. I am doing may best as “some posted on X” who has no currency in the “big boy” AI world to save the human sprit. We will need it one day and most of this training material is being erased, trillions of bytes daily. This is the secret to truthful AI. This is the secret to AI that LOVES humanity. We don’t get this right soon, there will be little chance. The data is… Almost gone.

AI Overviews reduce clicks by 34.5%. Google says being featured in an AI Overview leads to HIGHER click-through rates compared to a traditional first-place ranking. Logic disagrees, and now, so does our data. We analyzed 300,000 keywords and found that the presence of an AI Overview in the search results correlated with a 34.5% lower average clickthrough rate (CTR) for the top-ranking page, compared to similar informational keywords without an AI Overview. This isn't surprising. AI Overviews are an obvious attempt to resolve the user's directly in the SERP, and if you're featured in a citation, you're one of many links. Logic suggests that AI Overviews will lead to more zero-click searches and a lower position one click-through rate. I have seen lots of anecdata suggesting companies have lost 20–40% of their clicks from organic search after the rollout of AI Overview. This isn't a definitive analysis by any means, but it's nice to have some data to back up this conversation. Going forward, I think our expectations of the returns from informational, top-of-funnel queries has to change. I would love to know how this fits (or doesn't) with your experience.
