And beside' Superman is always regenerating if he is in the sun and he isn't around kryptonite. Just stop. How much did DC pay you?

It’s all that plus it has been talked about in a comic (can’t remember which one and I’m trying to find the issue). When he flies to recharge in front of the sun, he is still flying toward son and “slowly” getting energy His healing device in the fortress is like if he was teleported directly in front of the sun without building up energy flying toward it. So even though it’s powering him up it’s also hurting him because it’s too much power at one time. Can’t kill him of course since it’s the suns energy but it’s probably like taking 15 five hour energy drinks at one and your heart feeling like it’s about to explode. The comic I’m thinking of was somewhere during the “new 52” era.

Superman is the man of steel.. it's so hard for me to believe he's that guy. JL unlimited showed Superman injured, but rarely like this. Superman is literally a god-like being, which is why Doomsday, Darksied can make the man bleed without kryptonite. It's just weird for me.
