The wreath laying ceremony that took place in Ekhuruleni was organised by the government of the city. As we know the city of Ekhuruleni has a council resolution to commemorate his life and the ANC has participated in those commemorations. The family asked for the event to be decentralised as we saw last year it took place in Cofimvaba, Chris Hani region, where Cde Chris was born. This year it’s being held in Mpumalanga, Chris Hani municipality today. We have spoken to our comrades in government to engage with the family. The wishes of the family must be respected.

Now, that opportunity has come to fruition. Brown has been an anchor up front for the Tigers in each of the last two seasons. As a sophomore, Brown tallied 50 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, and three sacks.
