what better way than doing a custom template that's going to ensure he gets an accurate and solid fit?

He didn't align the paper with ceramic while marking it. Trash job. Also it is not possible to put it to ground without breaking the corners.

The problem I have is him cutting that cardboard template on the new laid tile! It's too shiny and new looking, let's put huge scratches across here. WTF? that's not using your brain.
There's other ways, but this works fine.

Claro, pega la baldosa sin hacerle los surcos o canales para que se adhiera muy bien al pegamento especial.... Por eso, al pasar un tiempo, la baldosa se siente hueca cada que se pisa, hasta agrietarse y soplarse.... Mal trabajador.... Empanada!!!

I mean….. use geometry and still run the risk of messing up your cut. He doesn’t know geometry and that’s fine because it worked. I’m more focused on the fact he used what appeared to be cement to lay the tile😂.
He cut it like shit, since the cardboard wasn’t aligned with the tile when tracing.
