Paul Mescal should not be on this list. His ability to carry a film & serve as its leading man is in question after Gladiator II. It’s not to suggest that Mescal isn’t the right man for certain situations. I liked him a lot in Aftersun & that performance really won me over. But he did not have the on-screen presence to handle the sequel to Gladiator & I question if he has the on-screen presence to play James Bond. Nothing personal against Mescal, but he shouldn’t be on this list.

That certainly works for many people, but it’s not the only way to make a living….and it’s not necessarily the best way either. So today, we are starting a series on unconventional ways to make money. I’ll be joined by Brian, who has an interesting entrepreneurial story, which began while he was studying at UCT. Norway was the first country to approve a long-term support program for Ukraine, setting an example for other nations. Today’s Ukraine-Northern Europe Summit affirmed that support for Ukraine is becoming long-term. This is a huge step. It’s not just about sending the right signal to Moscow—that Ukraine won’t be abandoned. It’s about sending the right signal to our people, our soldiers, and everyone in Ukraine who is fighting and working for freedom. This is vital for people’s motivation, and not only in Ukraine. The 21st century should not be a period in which dictators triumph. And it won’t be. We must do enough for this!
