Surfing across the map

Looks slick! Is the surfing fully physics-driven or partly animated?

It gives Jack&Daxter 2&3 hoverboard vibes in the best way possible. As if zelda BOTW & TOTK had shield sliding with more freedom/smoothness, and the right slopes for it. The transition from the large roots to the hills is soooo good 🌾

this is so cool I desire it. Is this going to be the main focus of the game or is it more a means of getting around? is there a main focus or is it more like about the spectacle of the world? either way it looks super fun : )

Thanks so much! The goal is to make an adventure/horror with a focus on stealth. Some areas will be vast and require traversal using surf, and other areas will more intimate and require cautious and thoughtful sneaking around to bypass

ooh, I like the idea of having a stealth focus with this kind of quite cool fast movement as well, I really love the very like naturalist alien environments around them too, do you think you'll mix the surfing movement with the stealth sections or do you think that'll be weird?
