Surrealist animation often devolves into “putting a face on an inanimate object”, a trope I often catered to because 1. it’s fun, 2. people love it. Inevitably, I had to address this populist desecration of the medium.

hard to believe it’s been exactly 20 years since steve jobs gave this commencement address. probably the closest thing tech has to scripture. not because of the prose, but because it beautifully compressed a whole cosmology.. death, intuition, rebellion into 15 minutes. legacy isn’t how often people remember you, it’s how often they remember themselves differently because of you. this speech does that for me. still. over & over.

Start your day with some great comedy about a group of very special people. I wasn’t ostracized because my comedy is bad or hateful it’s because it’s super funny. And yes I can be hard to get along with. Shitty people often complain that I’m really hostile to them. but that’s kind of the point of comedy. To make fun of people. Who the hell wants a docile agreeable comedy? No one in human history has been like “this guy is a genius! And all the hacks and sell outs love him!”

As legendary cycling commentator Paul Sherwin used to say… “It’s a face only a mother could love.” 🤣 Lower back issues often stem from a weak core—especially the psoas. This is the best exercise I’ve found. It ain’t fun tho.

250903 MBC 📻 steven's tmi: he likes classical music 🦊: the reason i said this is because sometimes when i listen to songs, the lyrics kind of sound noisy. but when listening only to the instrumental, it somehow feels like there isn't emotion, so at that time, listening to classical music is just right. because feeling emotions without lyrics is kind of a little fun, and it’s also fun to slightly feel what kind of story it is. i think i often enjoy listening to it. it’s a bit like with movies and books because when you read a book, you have to imagine, so i think it feels kind of like that~ #AHOF #아홉 #STEVEN #스티븐 #STVN
