💥 Surveillance companies hate this one weird trick. *Side effects may include privacy.* (Don't worry, fact-checkers. We know.) 😂

Do Teslas Dream? Do Teslas dream, of things unseen? Does your 3 insist, that that Y exists? When its stable mate, is your storage crate? Is the garbage bin, an X again? Or the heating duct, a Cybertruck? Does a weary auto-label, see autos in its stable? One more mirage, in your one car garage? Its invisible friend, is just pretend? Hey, Green the Only! Are our Teslas lonely? We need to find, what’s in their mind. Dr Know It All, please make the call. Is the FSD chip, looking for companionship? We may never know, save for Dojo. We’ll soon take backseats in our robo-taxis. So will this silicon stranger, put us all in danger? As it runs about, on another route. Looking for its soul-mate, just passed the next toll-gate. Its attention diverted, to thoughts more perverted? Will it stick to its scheme, as it starts to daydream? Should we take a strong stance, against this pending romance? Dread not this illusion, for it’s human delusion. One more deception, From human projection. This dry neural net, It’s clearly not wet. Nor even sentient, Despite human sentiment. We tend give intent, to things we invent. It’s pure paranoia, borne of pareidolia Our gift of abstraction, is behind this distraction. When we can’t comprehend, our souls we will lend. To objects inert, nor even alert. Don’t ascribe intelligence, to mechanical elegance. It can’t have a thought, it’s only a bot! We worry for naught, of an AI on-slaught! Fear not what your taught. Or ids that are bought. Because Teslas Dream, is only a meme. © 2022 by Humanity (Created on Earth by a human, not ChatGPT)

We have the huge honor of having KIRO selected in the TOP 50 of the #FutureVisionXPRIZE , among thousands of trailers submitted from all over the world. So we thought this was the perfect time to show you how we created one of the most visual effects in the trailer: ZERO GRAVITY. And no… we didn’t have a zero-gravity plane. We had a swimming pool. 😂 This was an idea I’d been thinking about for a long time: shooting underwater to simulate weightlessness. Obviously, underwater ≠ zero gravity. But it gave us something incredibly valuable: freedom of movement. Our protagonist could float, spin, push another crew member away, drift through the frame… Doing all of that practically on our budget would have been almost impossible. Our alternatives were basically: → create the entire sequence with AI → or find another practical way to fake physics So we went underwater. One of our biggest debates was actually… her hair. From a narrative perspective, it would probably make more sense for an astronaut working inside a spacecraft to have her hair tied up — or even wear some kind of helmet. But visually? Loose hair floating in zero gravity is just WAY more cinematic. It instantly sells the sensation of weightlessness. So we knowingly sacrificed a little realism in favor of a stronger image. And I’d make that decision again. There are actually several shots from this experiment that I really love but we couldn’t include because of the trailer’s runtime. I have a feeling this won’t be the last time we use this technique. Here’s the before & after. 👇

NEW WORK 🚀 We recently shipped This is one of many launches that will build upon Ramp's vision. And if you really looked, you may have spotted some new brand elements. Today, we’re sharing the first look at our evolved brand. We’re calling it Solar System because of our primary Ramp brand color. The idea was simple: build a brand system that behaves like jazz. Why? Because the world is changing too fast. The speed at which we’re shipping at Ramp will only increase and the world will only get more unpredictable. As we build this world, we realized we needed a new system — new ingredients, musical notes, and tools — that behaved more like software and nothing like the old way of brand building. Most brands optimize for consistency: “We always look like this.” We’re building for coherence: “We evolve, and you still know it’s us.” Brand as software is the operating principle in this new AI era. A system that can move at the speed of culture, learn while we grow, without losing focus of our core purpose: saving companies time and money. We built this first version in four weeks. We'll keep improving it out in the open. I’m insanely proud of the heart and care this team put into the work. Personally this is the fastest I've ever evolved a brand, and it was only possible because of this group. Massive shoutout to Diego Zaks , Mark Weaver , Aodan Reddy, Nicholas Ano, Cristina Keane, Emerline Ji, Fons Mans , Roan Collom, Diego Segura , J.D. Reeves , Jack Beveridge, Silas Reeves, Kyla Arsadjaja, Jon Howell , bradley , Azeem Segraves, Claire Chen, Eleanor Ngai, Viktor, David Fetherston, John Mock, and Alex Chimienti. Job's not finished.
