Susan and I recently invited a primary class to plan and participate in a service project together. As they shared their process with us, we were impressed with their thoughtfulness and preparation. They are shining examples of following the Savior Jesus Christ and serving others with love.

As disciples of Jesus Christ, we seek to follow the Master’s example as we mourn with those who mourn and comfort those who stand in need of comfort. As I visited earlier this week with survivors of the California wildfires, I was impressed by their faith and their goodness. Despite their own trials, they have continued to diligently look for opportunities to love and serve one another. We plead to heaven for all those around the world who are affected by tragedies. May we all feel God’s love and find the comfort we seek.

These former Muslims in Pakistan have publicly declared their faith in Jesus Christ through baptism. In a place where following Christ can come with rejection, persecution, and great personal sacrifice, they have boldly chosen to say, "Jesus is Lord." Let us pray that God strengthens them, protects them, and helps them remain steadfast in their faith. May many more come to know the saving grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Jesus is Lord. ✝️

We loved spending time with several of our great-grandchildren during the recent Friend to Friend event for Primary children. We shared some family stories, which they enjoyed. I shared that disciples of Jesus Christ listen to Jesus Christ. Sometimes He gives us a feeling, other times a thought. President Russell M. Nelson, our dear prophet, has taught us to seek our Savior and listen to His voice. Our Heavenly Father loves His children and has given you responsibility as parents and teachers to guide them in the right way. He knows of your righteous actions and will bless you for them.

I travelled with public transport this evening and met a group of CPUT students. Our journey took us to all the way to District Six, and I got some insight into their world. I was impressed with their study choices such as civil engineering and accounting. Some hope to become entrepreneurs. The students shared that NSFAS was supporting their studies. Beyond fees, they are also provided with residence fees, books, food and a travel allowance. They however need laptops. They did tell me they are in dire need of laptops for their studies. The energy, passion and optimism of these young South Africans was inspiring.

In 2023, I met a group of young men from South Sudan and invited them to serve missions. A few days ago in Kenya, I reunited with them and was delighted to learn that many have wholeheartedly accepted that challenge. Ten are currently serving missions, and others are planning to serve. These young men are valiant examples of faith. They have complete trust in the Lord to accomplish what He would have them accomplish. They are serving missions, receiving an education, and faithfully serving in church callings—one even as the second counselor in his branch presidency. I am proud of them, and I know the Lord is especially proud of them. I am looking forward to the next reunion with these wonderful South Sudanese disciples of Jesus Christ.

MKP Domkops can't lure us into their tribalistic agenda, and when we expose their true intentions, they cry foul. They try to spin this and accuse us of being tribalistic - that's a label that's been associated with Jacob Zuma for years, and it's not a reputation he's earned recently. We won't back down, and I want to make it clear that our issue isn't with Zuma as a person, but with his self-serving and tribalistic politics and power-hungry tactics.

We were recently down in Atlanta and got a chance to visit with a customer of ours, King of Pops (King of Pops) They've made a huge name for themselves in ATL serving fun & popsicles all over the city. And it was such a treat to find out their whole business runs on Basecamp! Their suppliers, photographers, designers, individual carts, and even yoga instructors are all working together in Basecamp. While we were down there we shot a video with them. And here it is: This is King of Pops, and how they use Basecamp to make it all come together.
