Why do politicians avoid answering questions and instead deliver meaningless, pre-learned word salad? If they won’t answer and the @GMB interviewers won’t challenge them, what’s the point of this tedious, dull spectacle?

This wasn’t about welfare reform it was about saving money on the welfare bill to spend more on warfare and so the rich could avoid paying more tax. As long as these muppets keep taking us for idiots they’re going to get wiped out in the next election.

Why not target the rich instead of the poor and disabled

I have never know politicians and media so out of touch with the rest of the country.

We are going to strip disabled people of financial assistance and we could'nt care less. £93k is a wonderful wage to be earning, with no threat of losing it because we will not rebel against any controversial decisions which impoverish the poorest. War & zionism are our masters.

If they just had a group of about 30 ordinary members of the public who they asked, without further explanation 'this is the plan how will you receive it ?' and then took notice of that. This is where pretending it doesn't matter what the public think gets them.

They aimed for the most vulnerable people in the country, cynically thinking that the majority of people do not care for them, as shown through what happened to Grenfell. They keep trying to sell us austerity and benefits are a burden because they know future AI will kill jobs.
