My gut instinct when I heard the news of the Geelong refinery fire was that it was an intelligence operation. Simple as that. There are no coincidences. It's a coordinated strike to reinforce the government's Net Zero Policy.

The last major fire was 30 years ago. 1 man died and the other one had 95% burns to his body. This is out of the ordinary. Too big of a coincidence since we are in the middle of a fuel crisis. Timing is impeccable.

I'm suspicious of the 'malfunction' timing too, especially with the fuel supply crunch. But satellites (or even high-altitude drones like the Triton) don't have the power or proximity for the kind of laser/energy attack that could ignite a refinery fire like this. Those systems need to be much closer to the ground for meaningful impact—atmosphere scatters and absorbs the energy badly at long range. If there's flight data showing something unusually low or armed, that'd be more interesting, but from what we see, these orbits look too high.

It is likely scanning the Otway and Bass Basins, massive oil basins, considering the current environment it makes sense that the AUS government is exploring all projects that have been put on the back burner.
