Crystal Kung Minkoff says the #RHOBH women spent a lot of time focused on Garcelle during the first episode of season 15. She notes that some of the women believe Sutton and Garcelle’s friendship was an alliance, but Crystal and Cynthia make it clear that they do not see it that way. Crystal explains the difference between a real friendship and an alliance, saying she does not believe it was an alliance because “the result of a real friendship is when you break up because you’re actually hurt.” She adds that alliances look very different and says you can see them on other franchises. According to Crystal, alliances are when housewives can fight intensely with someone and then be completely fine shortly after or make up very quickly. As she puts it, “they can fight, be back together, fight, be back together.” Crystal also believes that Garcelle “rode for Sutton way too hard in moments Sutton didn’t deserve.” She feels Garcelle’s idea of being a good friend is backing someone 100 percent.
