Swans have one off the coolest landing technique ever.. 😊

Looks like the Concorde when I’d watch them land at Dulles.

final approach, full flaps, gear down and locked, touch down...beautiful!

Albatross says what.

The placement of its delicate feet on the water is so unhurried & elegant.

Just like an airplane with nose up, landing gear down.

Natural elegance.

Nothing beats the pelican!!

Looks like a Boeing 747 landing

Very smooth and graceful. Boeing should take notes.

You obviously never saw a stone land. Fast. Precise. No unnecessary theatrics. ;)

Show off. Smile. Nature is amazing. God is amazing. Thanks, Lord.

…. Flaps, gear down, adjust speed, flare and sink, kiss the water, speed brakes up… terrific landing…

The Concorde – an aeroplane that was always compared to a flying swan, a slender, aerodynamic ‘bird’ born of British-French collaboration – stood for nearly three decades as a symbol of technical triumph over physical limitations, transforming the way the elite perceived time and space. A ticket cost a fortune, and it was cramped inside. Yet everyone dreamt of flying on the Concorde. The Concorde ushered civil aviation into the supersonic era – it was a project as iconic as it was controversial. Today it is merely a museum exhibit, but its history remains one of the most fascinating chapters in the annals of engineering.

Taking off is cool also

The Concorde of wildlife.

Wheels down!

God's Glory = SubhanAllah

Nothing major difference then Flamingo & many many other water bird

It's a big bird. Frkn neck goes about 4ft. Way bigger and heavier than a goose. Can't just shut it down like a duck. They need a good running start for lift off as a rule too.

I could watch fowl land and takeoff all day on my lake. They are mother natures best pilots.

Foot brake🤣

Nature teaching aeronautical engineering…

WOW!!!!!! God is a pretty good aeronautical professor.

did you know their relatives, geese, flip themselves on their backs in the air? There is video of this, from long before AI so no worries about it being fake. . It's from a #wageningen #research project in which several teams filmed with super high speed #PhantomV710 camera's. . Played at the normal framerate it looks slow-motion. And you see the flipping happening in mid-air.

Really beautiful, but even more so, instructive. Wish my last flight landed so smoothly!

So elegant. The swan is the national bird of Denmark 🇩🇰

Our Nature is so amazing and perfect! And when they are running on the water to get up and fly, making such great noise with their wings. so powerful!!! Swans male are very dangerous especially when they have little ones! I am watching a Swan family with 11 little Swans!

Beautiful. Inspiration for the Concord? Must have been surely.

Ah! Thats where humans got the idea for their aircraft 🤗 I believe all human design originates from Nature, and as we lose Her, this profound connection fades.

Proof of a Designer Goddess

"Undercarriage ... down. Waterski mode... activated."

Graceful unlike the blue footed booby which doesn't land so much as crash lands

I gaze the aeroplane makers must have copied alot from them

kinda reminds me of watching a B1 Lancer come in for a landing
