Does the image need to be relatively the same dimensions as the other for this to work?

Yes in this case, because the mesh is designed based on the image deformation. You can still make some changes to the image while maintaining the same size.

Is it possible in Rive to make design variations and batch them somehow? I was using Illustrator for this, but I really want to get into Rive. For example, could I have a CSV file with images and text and create 200 variations from it? (csv is ideal but maybe something else?) If not, maybe consider adding this – I bet a lot of designers and devs might need this (I very much do).
