I thank King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden for the meeting. We spoke about Sweden’s participation in Ukraine’s reconstruction. We also discussed support for the school nutrition reform being implemented in Ukraine under the patronage of First Lady Olena Zelenska. We count on Sweden’s contribution to its further implementation. I am grateful to His Majesty and to the entire people of Sweden for the humanitarian support of Ukraine and the readiness to continue it.

Met with the delegation of the European Parliament within the framework of the Ukraine-EU Parliamentary Association Committee. We discussed key issues for our country and Europe. 🔹 Military support. The EU has already allocated nearly €50 billion in military aid to Ukraine. It is crucial to ensure stable and timely arms deliveries, strengthen air defence, and support Ukraine’s defence industry. 🔹 Financial assistance. The EU has approved €45 billion under the Ukraine Facility. We expect a swift disbursement of funds to support the economy and recovery efforts. 🔹 Sanctions. Further pressure on russia must be increased, particularly in the energy sector, LNG, and against companies that help russia circumvent restrictions. 🔹 EU accession negotiations. Ukraine has met all conditions to open negotiation clusters. We expect this step during Poland’s Presidency of the EU Council. I held a meeting with German Foreign Minister @ABaerbock. We discussed further support for our state, the path to a dignified peace, and the development of security guarantee formats. Germany is a leader in Europe in the scale of assistance provided to Ukraine — from financial aid and weapons to strengthening our air defense. This includes 6 IRIS-T systems, 3 Patriot systems, and Gepard anti-aircraft guns. All this support has saved thousands of lives. We are grateful to the Bundestag for the decision to provide an additional 3 billion euros to Ukraine. In total, German support this year will amount to 7 billion euros. We are grateful that German support for Ukraine remains unwavering and stable. We thank Germany, its Government, and all the German people for their significant assistance.
