Missed out on the main purpose. Shoot and scoot. Radars can back-calculate the firing position, and then the enemy can take out the shooter. By all 6 arriving at once, the shooter can be out of the firing position before fire is returned.

Kann die Panzerhaubitze 2000 auch 🤷♀️

Looks like angry birds technology

This is not a Swedish exclusive ❗ All modem Howitzers do this 🎯

This is K9-Vajra, the licensed mfg of K9-Thunder from South Korea. It already do this since 1999 while the Swedish archer is in service since 2016.🦦

This is nothing new nor special. Time on Target (TOT), or Multiple Rounds Simultaneous Impact (MRSI). Was invented by the British in WWII and has been in use ever since.

Overengineering. Does not scale at war

Archer is slow! and Koreans are 30 years late. Bandkanon 1 (Bkan 1) — The 45-Second Salvo Artillery vehicle designed by Bofors and used from 1967 to 2003. Rate of fire: It could fire an entire magazine of 15 shells in just 45 seconds. All hitting same time.

ToT is a concept invented by the British in 1941. The US followed in the 1970s with ToT as part of its massed fires tactic. Nice gun from the Swedes. The concept was proven elsewhere though.

Basic ballistics. Nothing special. Any modern howitzer is capable to do that.

Это как лук и стрелы

@ytbara202

Takes one $1k drone

Literally a basic bow and arrow tactic from thousands of years ago.

What they fail to mention is that this also brings the artillery well inside its maximum range, making location and retaliation easier

Meanwhile, when you're trying to be cute... Your shells got shot out of the air and you took an FPV up the booty hole.

The US has been doing this for a while.

Anticuado ya. Los pueden mandar a la fundición.

Interesting.

Good Swedish artillery but can't defend there women and daughters from Islamist and African invaders.

You haven't not even see the gen 6 and 7 prototype we have.

Just use mlrs.

Yeah the French have been doing this circa 1914...

The most useless feature Tell me if this feature has ever been used anywhere in combat It is called MRSI, Multiple Rounds Simultaneous Impact

This tech has been around since the 80s.

lol, range only 15km

Old trick.
