I’m so glad I can no longer be lumped into being a truck driver. I’ve been retired for 10 years and now days the truck drivers on the road scare the shit out of me. I’m hoping your retirement comes soon and the Good Lord keeps you safe until then.

Im semi retired (no pun intended) a year from this upcoming June ill be fully retired. Hopefully.

Used to be involved in the chemical industry. Interacted a lot with SWIFT drivers hauling tanker trucks. They hire literally anybody.

This is why when traveling I always stay away from any Swift truck because it seems that there drivers aren’t to swift .

My grandpa, both uncles, and cousin were/are truck drivers so I’ve always respected truck drivers. These illegals are a danger to everyone on the road and I think it’s intentional to create terror. I’m now suspicious of every truck driver, and that shouldn’t be the case.

My late husband was a truck driver for 30+ years. He & his friends used SWIFT as an acronym, that wasn't kind, but for the life of me I can't remember what it was. Any drivers out there who know what I'm talking about, please let me know what it is before it drives me crazy!

If you’re in a semi on a two lane road, you should not attempt to pass if: 1. There’s more than one vehicle to pass. 2. That they are traveling at least ten miles an hour less than your governed speed. 3. At least a few miles clear in the opposite lane.

I used to drive a route daily. I'd give Swift drivers wide berth. Unfortunately, I'd probably have to give most of them that now. I don't feel safe driving near semis now.
