How clever she is to put the calf on the side of her against the current so she can provide a study support for him. Glad they swam through okay, such smart, hardy creatures. Hope your field dries quickly.

It's wonderful how animals are blessed with common sense and don't need swimming lessons.

Typical weather for Littondale! Beltie paddle - do cattle swim naturally or do they have to learn Neil, the calf looked like a natural

🇬🇧 £6.3B Ajax Vehicles Linked to Toxic Fume Exposure in UK Probe A UK safety investigation has linked the troubled Ajax armoured vehicle programme to potential toxic gas exposure during a military exercise. During Exercise Titan Storm, 33 soldiers operating 23 vehicles reported symptoms including nausea, hearing issues, numbness and muscle pain. The probe identified a combination of factors, mechanical faults, equipment issues, ventilation problems and operational conditions, leading to a build up of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide consistent with the reported symptoms. The Ajax programme, delayed since its planned 2017 rollout, has faced repeated technical and safety concerns. The UK Ministry of Defence says personnel safety is “non-negotiable,” with a parliamentary update expected. Source: UK MOD safety investigation (Exercise Titan Storm)
