Agree completely but if your other commitments don’t allow such activity to get precise entries and manage trades swinging can make sense.

if this cons wouldn't be for swing trading which you mentioned so good and clear that fundamentals can change and could ruin your beautiful swing setup and your risk reward i literally would stick to swing trading. but in the end both are good if you know how&when to use them.

don't forgot compounding. If you are consistently profitable, you'll be compounding more times in a period of time doing scalps than that one long trade.
