Absolutely wild that the 80-year-old Yasuaki Kurata is still swordfighting in movies. There is no doubling in this scene!

Just because BLEACH characters don't spin around like Crash Bandicoot doesn't mean they aren't experts in the art of swordfighting. Zanjutsu—the art of fighting with a sword—shows a more grounded & realistic depiction of the weight behind wielding a blade.

First real look at my sword fighting hobby project - Responsive, accurate, freeform combat using physics that are fun, not frustrating, with intuitive controls that are easy to learn, hard to master. A lot of physics based sword fighting games have come out lately but IMO none strike that difficult balance between control, animation and physics...trying my best to pull it off here. This early test is hacked together but it's already showing promise. Feels good to attack and defend and really gives you the feeling that you are fighting with a sword; distance, timing, weapon placement, etc. all matter. Anyway, very WIP with lots to do...and for once, don't look at the feet! I'll take care of that someday ;) #UE5 #gamedev #physics #swordfighting

LeBron is about to begin his 24th NBA season. To put that longevity in context, had Michael Jordan extended his career that far, he would have faced Kyrie Irving. Bill Russell would have been teammates with Larry Bird. And Bird himself would have faced Amare Stoudemire.

🏆👀 Alex Pereira says Jon Jones is the legacy fight, but Khamzat Chimaev is the one to prove a point. "A fight with Chimaev won't make the same money as Jon Jones. So, looking at the financial side, Jon Jones, and for the legacy too. The Chimaev fight is for the sake of proving something. I really like when people say that nobody can beat this guy. I really love to hear that, and I like challenges." (via: ALF Global)
