Well done But you can only see the top third of centre point... Excellent shot of curvature...😉

Selbsman 的头像
Selbsman1 个月前

No Shannon, we shouldn’t see any part of the tower from that distance from the earth curve calculation of 40,000 km circumference.

Let's discuss it Tuesday... It will be a good topic... A suggestion ..only use co hosts with zero block list....🤣🤣😘

Well that rules me out as host. Lol

@selbsman1 I’ll be happy to host a space. I used to all the time with flat earthers. Never took the mic away from one. Or talked other one.

@selbsman1 Selbs presents flat earth Tuesday every week.. He is a wonderful host and fair for the most part.. Drop in...

This video is clear evidence of the curved earth, thank you for sharing. All those brain dead flat earthers can finally put the ridiculous flat earth theory to bed. This is a huge win for the globe earthers thank you.

Selbsman 的头像

So you deny your heliocentric model of 8” per mile squared.?? Jog on.

Undefined Rebuild 的头像

I’m just saying you captured a great picture of the curved earth, with clear curvature shown. Thanks for sharing a flat earth theory squashing video, those flat earthers are all weirdos.

@selbsman1 Something must be lost in translation here. I’m not the flat earther.

Earth isn’t flat bruh

Selbsman 的头像
Selbsman1 个月前

Unfortunately it is. 8” per mile squared. The math ain’t mathing for the circumference of 24,000 miles.

Selbsman 的头像
Selbsman1 个月前

8” per mile squared on a heliocentric model of 24,000 mile circumference. Go again..🤦

Thank you for showing the curvature obscuring some of the tower. So your entire complaint reduces to the AMOUNT of the curvature. Excellent!

Selbsman 的头像
Selbsman1 个月前

Well if we go with that analogy. The peak of the tower should not be visible by 50 metres using the earth curve calculation from the heliocentric model of 40,000 kms circumference.🤷‍♂️

That's only because you don't understand both geometry and maths - or how to read that website. But that's OK - 54% of Americans can't read at an adult level so I don't hold that against you. At least you acknowledge the curvature of the Earth, even if you get the size wrong.

That is so cool now ask the flat earth mob why the bridge ant towers look like they are half submerged 😂

Selbsman 的头像

Ask the globeys why we can see any other buildings at all.

So camera man is elevated 25 m plus tripod and still can’t show bottom half of tower. Seems curved yeah

Looks like the Sydney Tower observation here matches the globe prediction fairly well. Thank you for showing everyone that Earth is a globe. Can you do Mt. Rainier next?

Walter Bisling Earth Curve Calculator. Congrats you've proved the earth is curved, about 150m visible with standard refraction. Which could be more or less depending on the atmosphere at the time of the recording.

Selbsman 的头像

Heliocentric’s, just give me the 8” per mile squared drop over curvature. Once that’s accomplished, wel move onto motion. Don’t start me on pressurised containment. That’s you 3 axioms lock stock and barrel.

Selbs gave me the info for the shot: 73.61km distance, GPS elevation of 85ft or 25.9m The entire tower is 309m tall Based on the math there should have been 364.5m of REFRACTED curvature. This is absolutely diabolical for the globe. Well done mate!

Nice to see the curve. Parts of the city are below water level.

Selbsman 的头像
Selbsman1 个月前

The circumference is 24,000 miles. 8” per mile squared. We shouldn’t see any of the buildings.

Thomas/Thjialfi 的头像

Whoever filmed this stood on an elevated platform. Depending on how high that is you can see further being the curve. I respect what you were saying, don't get me wrong there, just keep that in mind.

This is very impressive. Was there like some kind of light distortion through the atmospheric pollution? Didn't think you could see another place that far away without it being hidden by the earth curvature

Selbsman 的头像
Selbsman1 个月前

Well the helio model says 8” per miler squared drop squared. Great point. We shouldn’t see any of them buildings on the helio model. 🤙✌️👍

So OP thinks we need to rewrite our entire understanding of the shape of the Earth because he could see the upper half of a 309m high tower from ~70km away on a clear day & from an elevated position. I say we confiscate his P1000, sell it & donate the funds to a worthy charity.

John Bull 的头像
John Bull1 个月前

I like that. You can only see the top 1/3rd of the tower, which is presumably correct when viewing from the high location.

This is nothing more than a distraction from the fact that the sun would be always visible 24 hours a day, it would never rise or set as we all observe, on a flat earth. While you posted this globe proof, you should worry about sunsets. They debunk flat earth. See:
