President Trump was convinced and lifted the sanctions, but there is a series of sanctions, such as Syria's designation as a state sponsor of terrorism since 1979. This is a very old designation, and without its removal, we will not benefit significantly from lifting a ban in the Caesar Law. Therefore, Syria must be cleared of all the laws that restrict it. This is the path that President Trump, thankfully, took.
