U.S. forces have begun withdrawing from the Qasrak military base, the largest U.S. base in Syria, Syria TV reports. This is the second convoy of U.S. forces evacuating the base in Syria's northeastern Hasakah governorate, to be redeployed in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. In recent weeks, U.S. forces have evacuated their bases in al-Shaddadi, Hasakah, Deir ez-Zor, and al-Tanf as part of a plan to leave Syria militarily, according to the agreement between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). U.S. forces are still present at one base, "Kharab al-Jir" near the town of Rmeilan, in the southern countryside of Hasakah.

🚨 U.S. DRAWDOWN IN SYRIA U.S. forces have begun withdrawing from the Al-Shaddadi base in northeastern Syria, with military convoys moving toward Erbil, Iraq. The pullback reportedly includes evacuations from additional coalition positions in Al-Hasakah governorate, as equipment is loaded and transferred via Iraq. The moves appear to be part of a broader U.S. drawdown that could lead to a full withdrawal from Syria by mid-2026, as Washington increasingly views the new Syrian government, following integration arrangements with the Syrian Democratic Forces, as its primary partner against ISIS. A strategic shift is underway. source: Selena 🇮🇱 Stay connected, follow Mossad Commentary.
