The major problem most reviews dont address is figuring out if the raw underlying data is reliable. This is especially problematic with covid/vax reviews since there is too much bias including sars-cov-2 overtesting & residual underlying health confounders in vax vs unvax.

When you conduct a met analysis, a librarian who is formally trained to conduct searches on multiple databases is as important as a statistician on team. A great meta starts with a great search!
