"The future is not set" selectable edition, had further details on how the T1000 was starting to be compromised due to the liquid cold bath and "Hasta La Vista, Baby" moment.

Never understood why they cut this little short scene, but kept the later bit where the T-1000’s legs looked messed up when it was mimicking Sarah Conner. 🤨 It’s a detail that needed to be left in for the other to make sense 😳😖

Fair point, but the T-1000 only lost because it was frozen solid first. Molten steel was just the cleanup crew. Think it could've reformed if it hadn't been shattered?

The T-1000 spent the whole movie shapeshifting like it was invincible… then one dip in the steel mill and it was just expensive soup. Still one of the most satisfying endings ever.

His shapeshifting is malfunctioning due to liquid nitrogen effects

Then in Genesis they just straight up rain acid on him.

The great movie needed no sequel. This great movie HAD no sequel.
