If the LMNOP part seems fast, they can slow it down: L M N O P, but it will still rhyme. "Why do they keep changing things that don't need changing?"

they likely changed it bc so many kids initially think “LMNO” or “LMNOP” are one letter. it’s way more difficult to unlearn something you’ve internalized and then relearn the info correctly, esp for kids.

@yeomosexual Once they start school they will relearn it. We do not teach it the old song way. We space out each letter. So it’s not LMNOP…. It’s L M N O P (and we will especially space out these specific five because kids have a hard time not going “J K LMNOP Q R”
