Liverpool’s search for build-up solutions where met with an answer from Man City. Their press, and tactical adjustments to counter Liverpool’s moves were spot on. Here, Gravenberch rolls outside as he can’t revive in the central channels.

Before Final #Euro2024 #ESPENG I chose some interesting tactical solutions from different matches used by the Spanish National Team. 🇪🇸 How they create and use space, how they use positional superiority in low and middle build up phase of game, how they rotate positions. small games 2v1, 3v2. A lot of video from tactical cam. 🇪🇸 1-4-3-3 🆚 🇭🇷 1-4-3-3 (1-4-1-4-1) 🇮🇹 1-4-3-3 (high press man to man) 🇬🇪 1-5-3-2 (usually low press) 🇩🇪 1-4-2-3-1 (man to man press) 🇫🇷 1-4-3-3 (1-4-1-4-1 / low 1-4-5-1) Film has over 11 minutes. I designed this a long time ago in hopes one day we'd build our own widget platform! But it ended up fading away. We then made it for personal use so we can quickly test things locally without SE. It's all front end for now though, but could be a start! Some parts are still a bit scuffed because it was just for of our own testing purposes, but I'd improve the UI and user experience if we were to make it public one day. We are exploring options on how to even make this possible but we're doing our best to find solutions, even if it's not this 💜

"You're most likely to give up when you're out of the hardest part and things first start getting better. You're the farthest away from when you were first hyped up. And you're putting in the maximum amount of effort with the least to show for it. And since you're so far from when you thought it was just going to work, that you basically get demoralized and give up. And I now know how to see "this person's in the 'giving up because it's working' mode". 🔥🔥 from tommy on the early days of building Alloy Link in bio for our full conversation, going deep on the early days of fintech, lessons building a technical platform, and how hands-on customer implementations gave them PMF on steroids.

In Merseyside we’re building brighter futures ❤️ #DearMerseyside is a poem by young Liverpool poet Joseph Roberts – it’s powerful, honest and full of hope. Essentially a love letter to #Merseyside, it gives a voice to young people growing up in areas worst affected by serious and organised crime. It addresses the problems they face such as gang culture and knife crime while offering solutions and hope, reflecting on the ‘love where you live’ ethos behind Clear, Hold, Build – known here in Merseyside as #EVOLVE. It’s part of our work to build safer, stronger communities and is a wider school-based project with Joseph delivering spoken word workshops to young people, guiding them how to write them own versions and helping them to find their voice. 💬 Like, comment and share to show your support. #LoveWhereYouLive #ClearHoldBuild #SilenceIsNotAnOption #Police

TienKung Ultra finished the full 21.0975 km in 1:15:00 — fully autonomous, zero human intervention. 🤖 No repeat win this time. But it was easily one of the most striking robots on the course — clean gait, stable motion, and the most human-like running form out there. It took home the “Best Design” award, and that actually says more than the podium this time. Because this isn’t a marathon-only build. TienKung Ultra is a general-purpose humanoid, already moving toward real-world deployment. And it didn’t show up alone. Teams from Peking University, Fudan, HUST, BIT, Beihang, HKUST(GZ), TUM and more were all building on the same TienKung platform. That’s what an open ecosystem looks like — shared hardware, shared stack, different solutions on top. And just a day before, it took the Robot Warrior Challenge — fully autonomous through obstacle tasks modeled on real-world rescue and hazardous operations. That’s the part that matters. This is no longer just about speed. It’s about autonomy — and whether these systems can actually handle real environments. That’s what future winners are going to look like.

Roberto De Zerbi is one of the best coaches on the planet 🧠⚽ He is crystal clear about what he wants, then turns those ideas into simple, repeatable solutions for his players. At the weekend, De Zerbi was coaching his double pivot during build up against a press led by a single centre forward. The key detail, the pivots must remain staggered. As the ball travels across to the opposite centre back, the opposition number 10 jumps to press. In doing so, the number 10 blocks the passing lane into one pivot as he moved. But the staggered positioning in the pivot positions creates the solution, the ball side pivot stays behind the first line of pressure. The opposite pivot drops at an angle to receive. A passing lane opens around the pressing player who jumps to press. The team escapes pressure and progresses through the centre. Giving players clear pictures, reference points and solutions they can recognize under pressure. You see the detail coached in training. Then you see it appear in the game. That is how effective coaching improves or aids decision making, problem solving and confidence in possession. Save this for and follow us for more. More available on our website.

The American Rancher Alliance is officially live. Producers can now sign up, communicate through our dashboard, and vote for regional board members — one rancher, one vote. This isn’t owned by packers. This isn’t controlled by corporations. This is ranchers rebuilding the American beef supply chain from the ground up. Now that the foundation is built, it’s time to put boots on the ground — onboarding producers, securing processing, and placing American-raised beef back on American shelves. 🐂 Producers — join us 🥩 Retailers & Restaurants — reach out 🇺🇸 Supporters — donations help fuel the build This isn’t a brand. It’s a movement. 👉 Link in bio

This is a $3,000 service hiding in plain sight. The build costs under $9. Every town is full of brick and mortar businesses with 5-star reviews and websites that look like 2002. Plumbers. Landscapers. Dentists. Med spas. Here's the play we ran: 1. Pointed an agent at our local market and had it surface businesses with great reviews and terrible websites. They already have demand and money. They just look bad online. 2. Had the agent find the business's basic info and let it build out their entire digital presence automatically. 3. Added a speed to quote agent so every inbound lead gets an instant quote back with zero human touch (we built this live for a mechanic in the episode) 4. The whole thing ran under $9 in token spend. That's the delivery cost on a service we could charge $3,000 for. 5. Me and Alex walk through a no-brainer tripwire + upsell offer for this model at the end of the video. Ran the whole build on Hyperagent. Alex from their team did it live on the pod, start to finish. Full video below. (Also available on the Build With AI podcast wherever you get your pods)

Now you can build apps in Cowork and Copilot Studio. Just another vibecoding play? Not quite. Many agents can write a decent front end today. The important part is what happens before and after. Now anyone can build in the flow of work, in the context of Work IQ. "Let's create a plan for this next product launch" can naturally evolve to "let's build an app based on the discussion in yesterday's meeting and the email and Teams threads about the project." And, critically, the apps you create are hosted, secured, and fully managed by Microsoft, connecting natively to the places you already keep business data. So no more "check out my cool app at localhost:3000" or "great, now I need to spin up a bunch of services and jump through a bunch of approval hoops to deploy this thing." Just click 'share' and send a link, we'll take it from there. More details about the new /app skill on the Cowork blog: And the same capabilities coming to Studio here:
