ngl i’m just glad they didn’t just let Jax completely give up the facade this episode just because Pomni pushed on it once. 😭

He said when people are abstracting they are not pleasant to be around. He wasn't being pleasant here at all.

I like that Pomni here is trying to roleplay an archetype like Jax explained earlier in the episode. She's being the "chaotic evil one" for the fun of the game, but is completely thrown off when Jax doesn't play back. Bro is too afraid to even just let himself have a friend.

It went from a 10/10 to 1000000000/10 for this moment alone

The fact he’s kind of begging her to shoot him too. Like never once does he try to shoot her. (Probably reading way too into it but I love angst so…..)

And the scene before with Kaufmo’s and Ribbit’s doors show that he’s actually scared to make actual friends…

I feel like jax is a complex character because at face value, you could take his words literally and believe that he is the monster he says he is, or you can remember this is jax, we're talking about and he's an unreliable narrator
