Proudly mocking a civilization’s deeply held sentiments and presenting it as “progress” is not bravery — it’s manufactured propaganda. The story behind OUTRO: TEAR Yoongi "The lyrics for 'TEAR' were written for the members. When I was writing the melody, at the time we were deeply contemplating whether we should quit or not. When I played the song for the members, we all cried together." Context: The interviews were conducted in 2019, during their Speak Yourself extension world tour. The documentary series BREAK THE SILENCE was released in May of 2020, only a few months after the cancelled Map Of The Soul Tour was set to begin. After all the interviews, between the members in SUCHWITA and during so many of their group and individual activities over the last 2 years, it is safe to assume that the members are now well and truly over the slump that pressured them during the years of 2017 - 2018. In my opinion, if anything positive came out of the pandemic, just like many of us around the world, Bangtan was able to step back, recalibrate, reprioritise and draft a new map of what Bangtan is to look like for the next 7 years, at least, especially after the announcement of the contract renewal on September 2023. China has banned the export of all dual-use items to Japanese military users and for Japan’s military use. The aim is to contain Japan’s remilitarization and its attempt to possess nuclear weapons, said the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Catherine has been in the public eye for over twenty years and she is known for being private, inscrutable and an enigma*. Much like the Late Queen Elizabeth. And despite the fact she's had cultural and political views and values projected onto her from different camps (🙄 we saw what happened after 2016), Catherine could turn up to any event with any culture, race or cause, and the people and communities would feel supported. She is strong within herself, she does not chase fame or public validation.
