China has banned the export of all dual-use items to Japanese military users and for Japan’s military use. The aim is to contain Japan’s remilitarization and its attempt to possess nuclear weapons, said the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Sanae Takaichi lamented at the G7 that China’s rare earth sanctions are affecting Japan’s economy. This is the same person who openly threatened China by saying that “a Taiwan emergency is a Japan emergency.” A defeated fascist state, once disarmed by the anti-fascist order after turning Asia into a slaughterhouse, is now trying to insert itself into China’s internal affairs and present that as “security.” Then when China responds with economic measures, Japan plays the victim. Classic. Japan should be glad that China is not the United States. If a foreign leader said “a Cuba emergency is our emergency” to Washington, the U.S. would not respond with polite export controls. It would call it a national security threat, sanction everyone involved, send warships, threaten regime change, and may even kidnap that leader and his family within a week, drag them back to the United States, and try them on drug trafficking charges. Trump attacked Iran for months under the excuse that Iran must not even have the chance to build a nuclear weapon. Iran did not say “Cuba is our emergency.” Iran did not invade the U.S. Iran did not station forces near Florida. Yet Washington bombed Tehran, assassinated Khamenei, blockaded Hormuz, and called it security. Japan, meanwhile, openly links itself to Taiwan, challenges China’s sovereignty, pushes remilitarization, flirts with nuclear ambitions, and then cries when China restricts dual-use exports. Japan should understand one thing very clearly: China’s economic measures are restraint. Perhaps too restrained. That is exactly why Japan dares to challenge China’s core red lines of sovereignty again and again. In the end, a defeated militarist power does not get to threaten the victorious country, interfere in its territorial question, and then demand uninterrupted access to strategic materials. If Japan wants stable relations with China, it should stop pretending dialogue means China staying silent while Tokyo rearms, provokes, and hides behind the G7. China is indeed not the United States. That is why Japan is still being warned through economic tools instead of being treated the way Washington treats countries that cross its red lines.

Charlene says Catherine didn't rush into it because she had time, which is true. She says 💀 'it wasn't like she was a woman in her late thirties who has to really think hard about finding someone and having a kid'. {note: I don't like the comparisons between the women, it suggests competition, which is silly. I look at them as two different cultures - British monarchy and US celebrity} Charlene says 'we possibly know more about Markle as a person than we do about Catherine'. I agree with this, in a way. I've seen and heard more personal content from M than I have of Catherine. Social media, interviews, anecdotes. On and on. 🤷🏻‍♀️ i'm not sure if they think it's a negative about Catherine, but I think it's a strength. Especially for a Queen of a constitutional monarchy. What a Queen should be, what their role is, is a fascinating topic. A 'movie Queen' in the movies may be political, or an activist, or challenge despots and dictators. She might be the speaker at a rally, rousing the crowd. That's not really the role though, and not something that apolitically highlights and unifies communities. Catherine has been in the public eye for over twenty years and she is known for being private, inscrutable and an enigma*. Much like the Late Queen Elizabeth. And despite the fact she's had cultural and political views and values projected onto her from different camps (🙄 we saw what happened after 2016), Catherine could turn up to any event with any culture, race or cause, and the people and communities would feel supported. She is strong within herself, she does not chase fame or public validation. And though she is warm and personable, while on public engagements will maintain a professional disposition to ensure the stories and causes of those around her are the focus. She serves, gives back, in her appearances. And what some see as a 'long game' is just her temperament, it's her character. She won her tabloid war by refusing to become part of the media machine - she didn't engage, and didn't chase the short bursts. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Catherine Mayer later mentions personality types. The comparison is unfortunate, but yes, the difference in personality types is glaring 💀 full ep

Tchaikovsky – Rococo Variations: The Secret of a Melodic Curve That Never Disappears In the art of variation, change has never been the greatest challenge. A melody can be clothed in countless new forms. It may become faster, more intricate, more brilliant, or more emotionally expressive. The real challenge lies in a deeper question: How can listeners still recognize the same voice after all those transformations? That is the problem Tchaikovsky solves in Variations on a Rococo Theme. He does not build the work around a monumental theme, nor does he seek to impress through complexity. Instead, he begins with a melody that is elegant, balanced, and clear. Yet beneath its apparent simplicity lies a profound organizing principle: a musical line capable of expanding, transforming, and evolving into many different forms while preserving its original identity. For that reason, Rococo Variations is far more than a virtuoso showpiece for the cello. It is also a demonstration of a fundamental principle of artistic creation: The more firmly an idea is built upon a strong foundation, the more freely it can change without losing itself. A Curve That Does More Than Beautify—It Breathes From the opening theme, the melody is already in motion. It begins by reaching upward, as though the music were taking a deep breath. But instead of remaining suspended in tension, it gently relaxes and returns to balance. Even within the very first phrase, Tchaikovsky refuses to let the melody linger around a single stable pitch. He urges it forward, creating a natural sense of expansion before allowing it to settle through graceful, flowing motion. At first hearing, it seems like a simple song. Yet that very naturalness is the hardest thing to achieve. A melody truly comes alive only when it knows how to gather energy and release it at precisely the right moment. If it only keeps rising, it becomes strained. If it only keeps falling, it loses its momentum. Tchaikovsky shapes the melody according to a rhythm remarkably close to the human act of breathing—inhaling and exhaling. Perhaps that is why listeners instinctively experience its natural flow without needing to analyze it. It is not merely a beautiful curve. It is a curve that breathes. What Keeps Every Variation from Losing Its Identity? This is where Rococo Variations becomes truly remarkable. In a work of variations, change is not the greatest difficulty. The real challenge is ensuring that the original theme remains present after every transformation. Tchaikovsky achieves this not by repeating the original notes verbatim. Instead, he preserves something deeper. He preserves the direction of the melodic motion. He preserves the theme's inner momentum. Just as a planetary system may contain countless different orbits while every planet continues to revolve around the same center, each variation in Rococo Variations follows its own path while remaining guided by the same underlying principle. The rhythm may change. The tempo may change. The technical brilliance may become increasingly dazzling. But that inner gravitational pull never disappears. That is why listeners always feel they are following the same melody, even though it continually appears in different forms. Simplicity Is What Makes Endless Transformation Possible There is an intriguing principle behind the art of variation. The more details a theme contains, the harder it becomes to develop. Conversely, the more distilled a theme is, the more possibilities it leaves open for exploration. Tchaikovsky understood this perfectly. He does not attempt to present every musical idea at the outset. Instead, he creates a melodic outline that is clear enough to support every transformation that follows. A line with balanced proportions. A clear sense of direction. And enough flexibility for each variation to reveal a new facet without obscuring its original shape. For that reason, the variations are not acts of breaking the theme apart. They are acts of revealing possibilities that were already hidden within it. Every transformation brings the melody not farther from its origin, but closer to its true nature. When Technique Illuminates the Shape of the Melody Rococo Variations has long been regarded as one of the cello repertoire's greatest technical challenges. Its rapid passagework demands precision. Its long lyrical phrases require extraordinary bow control to maintain an uninterrupted singing line. Yet if a performer focuses only on conquering the technical demands, the work loses what matters most. In Mstislav Rostropovich's performances, technique is never the destination. It is simply the means through which the work's inner architecture becomes more visible. The rapid runs never cause the listener to lose sight of the melody. Instead, they resemble light illuminating the same curve from different angles. The more the music changes, the more clearly the listener recognizes the essence of the theme. That is the hallmark of a truly great performance. Rococo Is Not Reconstructed—It Is Reawakened Tchaikovsky is often remembered as one of the great Romantic composers. Yet in Rococo Variations, he never allows emotion to overwhelm balance. Instead, he reaches back toward the elegance, clarity, and refinement of the Rococo style. What makes this remarkable is that he does not simply imitate the past. Had he merely recreated the style of the eighteenth century, the work would have become little more than a beautiful historical picture. Instead, he preserves the spirit of Rococo while breathing into it the expressive warmth of the nineteenth century. As a result, elegance never becomes cold. Emotion never destroys structure. The two worlds meet within the same musical motion—disciplined enough to preserve its shape, yet supple enough to carry Tchaikovsky's own unmistakable voice. A Curve That Lives Beyond Every Transformation Perhaps the enduring greatness of Rococo Variations does not lie in the number of its variations or the brilliance of its technical demands. Its lasting power comes from the fact that Tchaikovsky created a theme built upon deeply natural principles. It gathers and releases energy like the rhythm of breathing. It possesses an inner force that allows every transformation to find its way home. And it is sufficiently distilled that each variation strengthens its identity rather than obscuring it. Perhaps that is why, after all the dazzling transformations have passed, what remains in the listener's memory is not technical complexity, but a melodic curve that continues to live on. Every performer may tell that story differently, yet the original direction of the melody never disappears. That may well be the deepest secret of Rococo Variations: Tchaikovsky did not create an unchanging theme. He created a theme capable of surviving change. And when a melodic curve is built upon a firm foundation, every new transformation does not diminish it. It simply allows its original beauty to become even more clearly seen.

🚨BREAKING: Candace Owens Just REACTED To President Trump Telling Erika Kirk To SUE All Of Us —And I AGREE With Her... Bring it on.🔥💪 At the White House Easter celebration, Trump looked at Erika Kirk and told her to "sue their ass off," claiming everyone investigating her is just "jealous." Candace's response is legendary. She calls it "so middle school" and delivers a masterclass in what real power is. She points out the absurdity: "We wanna know who killed Charlie Kirk, so could you park aside the lawyers and get information for us, Trump?" Then she lays down the ultimate challenge. She says most of us investigating this WELCOME a lawsuit. Why? Because discovery is a beautiful thing. A lawsuit would force them to turn over all the information we've been asking for. No more guessing. We could demand the receipts, the chain of custody on the flawed bullet analysis, and everything else they're hiding. Candace delivers the knockout blow: "The reason you should never sue... is if truth is not on your side." She asks the simple question that cuts through all the noise: If you're innocent, why not just answer the questions? Do a long, public sit-down and clear it all up? But they won't, because they can't. Instead, they hide behind power and money, using lawyers as a shield. Candace exposes this for what it is: "The reason we lie is because we're rich and we can. We have lawyers that make it okay, and you don't, peasants." This is their playbook. Use wealth and influence to silence truth-seekers. But as Candace declares, "There is no true power without truth." All their power is an illusion, and it's very easy to cut through that illusion with the truth. They sound nervous. They should be. They think money can buy silence. They're about to find out the truth is louder. Drop a 🔥 in the comments if you're ready for them to sue! The Russian dictator, who illegally invaded a sovereign country, bombs its grain ports, and runs a shadow fleet to finance his war is calling Ukraine a 'pirate'? putin may consider striking the ships of countries supporting Ukraine if a surge in attacks on his shadow tanker fleet continues. Question: Please provide a comment on the attacks on tankers off the coast of Turkiye. Another such incident occurred just today. putin: Frankly, I have not yet received that information. I am aware of the attacks on tankers in neutral waters, not even in neutral waters, but in the exclusive economic zone of a third state. This is nothing short of piracy. The Ukrainian armed forces tried to hit our seaports before as well. We responded – we did not start these operations – with reciprocal strikes. I assure you that ours were much more effective and devastating. They primarily targeted the ships that were used to deliver military equipment, materiel, and ammunition to Ukraine. We hit the targets we intended to hit, which we knew from secondary explosions we observed via aerial reconnaissance. However, what the Ukrainian armed forces are doing now is piracy. How might we respond? First, we will expand the range of our strikes against port infrastructure and ships that enter Ukrainian ports. That is the first point. Second, if this does not stop, we will consider the possibility – I am not saying we will necessarily do so, but we will consider that possibility – of reciprocal attacks against the ships of those countries that help Ukraine carry out these acts of piracy. The most radical option would be to cut Ukraine off from the sea. Then piracy would be impossible in principle. But these are the things to think about if other measures fail. I hope the Ukrainian military and political leadership and those who stand behind them will give it a thought to see whether this practice is worth continuing.” You start stamping your little feet and shouting empty threats at NATO flags. 'We will consider the possibility.' Yes we consider having a second coffee every morning. Wake me up when he actually tries to sink a German freighter. It’s all bluster to keep his terrified admirals in line and scare shippers so they can’t get insurance. Ukraine has taken out a third of his fleet. Instead of threatening global shipping, maybe he has to learn how to protect his rusty barges. putin is the global security problem, not the country he invaded.
