A VERY LONG COMMUTE UPDATE Spent late last night at the Millbrae City Council meeting and spotted Police Chief Eamonn Allen in the back of the room. I wanted to find out what the city was doing about my report that Allen lives in Idaho and sleeps in the police station. Raises all sorts of issues. I wanted to take another shot at questioning Allen and had to be quick on my feet. He left the meeting right after public comment, and an officer who was with him tried to block my way. I caught Allen as he walked into the police station and asked, "Eamonn, have you found a place to stay besides the police station?" Watch below. Hi FGC friends. I picked up a Brooks Wingman FGC 2 myself from to test some older sticks on PS5 cause of issues using them on PS5 for some games. Did a quick Firmware update through their website here: (Hold the side buttons while plugged into PC and grab the latest update) I then tested all of these myself that didn't work in game for Avatar before that are now working instantly. Hopefully a patch comes out before the event for legacy controllers but I wanted to test this as a backup option while I chat with Brook Converters directly about getting some loaners for pools at the event. So far no issues, timeouts or anything so this may be your a good option for the mean time to use all of your sticks/controllers on PS5 in general. If you're having issues please let me know what controller/stick you're trying to use and I'll see if I have it to try myself. Yes I'm one the greatest TOs of all time that goes through all the details when needed.

Was happy to get my first look at SS Rock Arnold (OSU Cowboy Baseball) down in Jupiter. Went 1-for-2 in the game I saw him and hammered a backside RBI triple. Recently re-classed into the C/O 2026. Listed at 6'1" and 190-lbs, Arnold has a lean, athletic frame with some length in his lower-half and present strength. Stands fairly tall in the box, small leg lift gives way to a normal stride. Hands will drift and drop a bit in his load that includes a barrel tip. Present bat and hand speed, slightly uphill swing path that's geared towards lifting the baseball. There's a degree of adjustability in Arnold's swing, and he's shown the ability to drop his back knee to help create leverage. Some swing and miss, particularly against secondaries, but Arnold's swing decisions were sound and he stayed within the strike zone in my look. Has shown he can impact the baseball—especially to the pull side. Arnold's athleticism is evident both in the box and on the dirt. Flashed an above-average arm on the left side of the infield with solid carry across the diamond. Didn't display the quickest first step on the play I saw him attempt to make, though he showed comfortability attacking the baseball. Figures to get the chance to stick at shortstop. When bucketing these players out, Arnold fits into a handful of them: He's an athletic, lefthanded hitting SS with present power and potentially more on the way. Definite name to follow closely this spring in the Northeast.

Continuing with Kikuyu folklore creatures. Today are creatures that aren't part of the giants/ogres. First up, Ndamathia. A colossal, prehistoric river dragon or giant serpent covered in dark, heavy, armored scales. It is so immense that its body is said to match the length of the rainbows it creates, and it possesses prized, magical hairs or feathers growing at the very tip of its massive tail. It was found in the deepest, most sacred pools (ndũndũ) of major rivers, waterfalls, and mist-veiled basins within the Aberdare highlands and the forests surrounding Mount Kenya (Kĩrĩnyaga). The Ndamathia is a deeply sacred symbol of divine power, weather control, and political legitimacy in Kikuyu culture. It is explicitly tied to the Ituĩka ceremony, the peaceful transition of tribal leadership that happened every 30 to 40 years. To legitimize a new generation of ruling elders, young warriors had to courageously venture into the waters, bribe or entice the beast, and pluck the magical hairs from its tail to use in their sacred inauguration rituals.
