🚨 A drone was intercepted south of #Makkah. This is exactly why calling on armed groups to “DEMOLISH THE CLOCK TOWER” is reckless. Dislike the building. Criticize Saudi policy. But Makkah is not a battlefield. Protect the #Haram. Protect the pilgrims.#Haramain #Islam #Muslim

SNEAKO & Dilly Hussain address Daniel Haqiqatjou’s deleted tweet calling on Houthis to demolish the Mecca Clock Tower. 😳🇸🇦 Both agreed the rhetoric was inappropriate, warning that any attack on the tower would endanger Masjid al-Haram and Muslim pilgrims. Dilly still defended the context behind Daniel’s criticism, saying the Clock Tower represents the materialism and commercialization surrounding Makkah. “We should steer away from that type of language.”

The Masjid al-Haram, with a 2 million capacity, is full, the courtyards are full, and all the floors on the Makkah Clock Tower are full. This is how crowded the streets are, kilometers away from the Kaaba 🕋.

As the clock tower lit up, “Eid Mubarak” seemed to shine across the sky. After nights of Tahajjud, rain, and countless du‘as, Ramadan bids farewell in the most beautiful way. A blessed moment to witness in Makkah.🌙 Eid Mubarak
