This has already happened, in the early 2000’s this was done. This is simply about disclosure of that fact. Every American has a database on them that they do not have access to. DARPA, CIA.

This reminds me when I was a kid in grade school. We had recess. I loved recess. The bad kids, the misbehaved kids, ruined it for the rest of us some of the days and we did not get recess. The bad kids ruined recess. Now we have to be tracked.

I think Jaun's perspective was correct on this. These technologies are in many hands now and you can either leave it to bad actors to dominate the space or good ones. To me it is a bit like a being a soldier. Unpleasant business, but if good people don't sign up and serve, then only bad ones will be there. Some of it is up to us as a people to ramp things like this down once the period of conflict is over as well. We need to be thinking of how we govern ourselves once we go back to a season of peace and stability.

No, I don't buy the concept that the only way we get peace is threw surveillance.
