-Nalanda University was the best university in the world -It had the world’s biggest library, with 9 million books -Over 10,000 students from across the world studied there -It had over 2,000 teachers. -Oxford wasn’t even founded at that time What happened next? An IsIamic ruler Bakhtiyar Khilji invaded India & destroyed the university completely. Today his descendants & their bootlickers who have the audacity to talk about "build school/colleges".

@MrSinha_ Please do not restrict Nalanda to Buddhist studies , Nalanda was more of Ancient hindu studies including all branches of education which were from Vedas Upanishads and Puranas and other ancient hindu research

@MrSinha_ The *Minhaj-i-Siraj's Tabaqat-i Nasiri**, doesn't mention Nalanda. Bakhtiyar Khilji never even went to Nalanda. He sacked the Odantapuri Mahavira in Bihar. Nalanda was destroyed by priests from the Hindu Sena dynasty according to Buddhist historian Tarantha.

@MrSinha_ Total fiction. Does this depiction match up with the sketch below? There's no evidence for the number of students nor for the number of manuscripts. Fanciful accounts do harm to the historicity of places like Nalanda.
