This GOFO delivery driver delivered a package a few weeks ago to this lady’s house. She threw the package marked fragile up on the porch. The woman who ordered it reported the driver and had to have a replacement sent. Well, the replacement arrived. And, you guessed it, delivered by the same woman and thrown the same way up on the porch. This delivery was handled like the first one and now she is waiting for the replacement to the replacement for the original package. 🤯 I had never heard of GOFO before. They are a smaller, growing delivery company that handles deliveries sometimes for Temu and other sites. You deliver once like this, maybe it’s an accident or oversight? You do it twice and it’s not an accident. 💯 How do these delivery drivers get hired? Is there that big of a shortage that they just hire anyone? What happened to hiring people with experience or training them correctly? Isn’t life getting exhausting?

A Flipkart delivery agent, Bharat Kumar, was reported missing on 26 September by a Flipkart representative Adarsh Koshtha in PS Chinhat... The movement of the delivery agent, his last location, the number of orders delivered, and the number of orders yet to be delivered, were found to be suspicious. We asked the company to provide us with his details... We started investigating and questioning people. We brought in Akash Sharma and when he was seriously questioned, he said that he and his friend Gajanan Sharma ordered phones from their other friend Himanshu's phone. They ordered two phones, one Vivo V40 Pro and one Google Pixel 7 Pro. The total cost of the two phones was Rs 90000 which were ordered on Cash on Delivery... They decided to keep the two phones without paying the amount to the delivery boy. They lured the delivery agent into their house and strangled him with a laptop charger. This man was expecting two packages. The delivery driver dropped off one but the other got soaked in a downpour. It is their policy if the package is damaged to not deliver it. The man brings up that she dropped off the cheaper package but the more expensive one she refuses to deliver. From what I see, the delivery drivers have no idea what’s in the box and she’s following protocol. If she had delivered it and it was damaged inside, he could still report it delivered as damage, if you were her would you just have given it to him since he wanted it do bad?

They were very unhappy with the customers for not leaving a tip, so they tried knocking on the door and ringing the bell to get them to the door. After no response, they decided to quit DD and take the liquor for themselves. Our tip culture here is so messed up anymore. But at what point should DD be held responsible and start paying their employees more? Not like they dont make enough...

My Take Amazon has invested billions in drone delivery infrastructure and the pitch has always been speed and convenience as genuine improvements over traditional delivery. Dropping packages from 10 feet onto concrete is not a delivery innovation. It's a trebuchet with a Prime logo. The fragile item problem alone eliminates a significant portion of what people actually order, including wine, glassware, electronics, and anything in a glass jar, which covers a substantial chunk of Amazon's catalog. The deeper question is whether this technology is being deployed because it's ready or because Amazon needs to demonstrate progress on the billions already committed to it. Every video like this one becomes a public test of a product that isn't finished, in neighborhoods where the company needs goodwill to maintain operating permissions. The $4.99 fee also doesn't cover the actual cost of drone delivery at current scale, which means Amazon is subsidizing a service that breaks your syrup. If you're an Amazon India customer, take 2 mins to read this if your money is dear to you. TLDR version, Amazon delivery partners are literally scamming customers. And Amazon India will do nothing to help you in this situation. Kiss your money goodbye! I raised this concern on social media a few days back, for a product (Levi's jeans) which was marked as delivered but I never received it. Their customer support team, did some investigation and came to the conclusion that the product was indeed delivered. Hence, they cannot do anything more to assist me in this situation (refer image) This was not a OTP based delivery, and neither does Amazon mention the name of the person who received the product on their app/website. If it was OTP based delivery, I would know someone has given the OTP so delivery has happened. With a name, at least I would know if there's any person with that name in the house. Now, I have absolutely no way to confirm if Amazon genuinely delivered the product. Except video camera evidence. So I went to see the CCTV footage of the day and time the product was marked as delivered. In the CCTV footage, I see something very strange. The Amazon delivery partner arrives at my place, gets off the bike, takes out the product and for the next couple of mins just keeps doing something on his phone. He doesn't call me, or at least I don't have any call record of calls at that time. In the meanwhile, another person walking out closes the door. That person is not me, neither works for me and neither known to me. Likely associated with a neighbour/tenant and I have no such instructions for my Amazon account for deliveries to be left with anyone else. One minute later the Amazon delivery partner decides to leave (see screenshot). The delivery partner doesn't even enter the house and just leaves after a couple of mins. Without even entering the house, Amazon successfully delivered the product! Wow! And if the delivery partner handed the product to any random person walking out of the house, is that the customer's problem? Was this a very expensive product? No, not at all. So why am I spending all this time to write this? 1. I just want to spread awareness to everyone out there who might be getting scammed by such malpractices from Amazon / delivery partners. 2. If Amazon claims a product is delivered, you can't do nothing about it. Irrespective of whether the product was actually delivered or not. Your money is gone, poof! 3. It should be the company's responsibility to prove that a product was successfully delivered but in India it seems anyone can walk over their customers. 4. I'm shocked that a customer has to go to these lengths to uncover such scams in India 5. If ordering on Amazon, I will always select cash on delivery as the default going forward Amazon India - Do not contact me in hope that I will delete this tweet or evidence now! PS: Video doesn't have the date/time stamp as aspect ratio has been cropped. Will only share that with company officials if someone from Amazon wants to see it. Or with consumer courts if I decide to pursue this further, definitely not worth my time for now. But in the US, I would have definitely filed a lawsuit for millions.

Wow is the Giga Texas outbound lot full today and its every vehicle product in production at the factory! 100’s of Model Y’s & crucially, a lot of Model YLs too … backing up the mid-September start of delivery many reservation holders a re hearing! Lots of Cybertruck in the lot and driving out from the factory to the W EOL for processing. This is great to see and also backs up stories of many people taking deliveries. What is a bit odd is that those with reservations from the $59K event and previously told to expect delivery in 2027 are taking delivery now. Not sure, but it seems that the reservation # doesn’t necessarily mean it is in sequential order. And not to be outdone, many more Cybercabs int eh outbound toot today too, some with “Cybercab” logos. I did not see any of these with the Starlink modifications, so not sure what to make of this, but great to see production happening ahead of the big Cybercab Launch Event coming up soon!

What is a bit odd is that those with reservations from the $59K event and previously told to expect delivery in 2027 are taking delivery now. Not sure, but it seems that the reservation # doesn’t necessarily mean it is in sequential order. And not to be outdone, many more Cybercabs int eh outbound toot today too, some with “Cybercab” logos. I did not see any of these with the Starlink modifications, so not sure what to make of this, but great to see production happening ahead of the big Cybercab Launch Event coming up soon!

In the early days of Waymo's service in Phoenix, they had a large number of roadside assistance vans traveling alongside their vehicles, each with two people inside. When the Waymo vehicle got stuck, one person would jump out of the RA van and drive the car. Today Waymo still has roadside assistance vans ready to help when a car has an issue, but they don't have to be directly with one car — issues are rare enough that a few roadside assistance vans can handle a much larger fleet. It's funny to see people take shots at Tesla for doing the same. Of course they're going to be careful with the first customer deployment. No, someone isn't secretly controlling the car from outside. The AI model on the car is driving the car. Go test drive any Tesla and find out for yourself. It doesn't need help from anyone, it can see and react to things before you do.

Neighborhood Karens Sh00t Amazon driver in the eye with a BB gun because he was stopping in the middle of the road. ​The incident began on a residential street when an Amazon driver stopped to deliver packages with his van door open. Frustrated that the roadway was partially blocked, a couple behind him began honking and aggressively drove around to park in their driveway. The husband then walked over to confront the delivery driver, sparking a heated verbal altercation as the driver explained he was simply doing his job. ​As the confrontation escalated, the driver reached inside his van to grab more packages. Claiming she feared for her husband’s life and believed the driver was reaching for a weapon, the man’s wife grabbed a BB rifle and fired multiple pellets directly at him, striking the driver in the eye and causing temporary blindness impacting his ability to drive. ​Responding police officers quickly dismissed the woman’s self-defense claim, pointing out that an Amazon worker reaching into a delivery vehicle is standard routine, not a deadly threat. She was arrested and booked on felony charges of aggravated assault and aggravated battery. ​While the aggravated battery charge was later dropped, she was found guilty of aggravated assault and sentenced to 10 years—ordered to serve the first 3 years in jail, followed by 7 years of probation. I'm sure she was not prepared to receive 3 years in jail for discharging a BB gun, but when you decide to escalate things like they did, you are playing with fire.
