Respected Authorities, I would like to bring to your kind attention a very serious incident of injustice faced by Mrs. Zumar Fatima, widow of Mr. Khubaib Ammar (late), and her orphan children. After the tragic death of her husband in a car accident, her in-laws including: Suhaib Ammar, Zahida Nasreen, Umair Ammar, Hafsa Farooqi, Iqra Farooqi, Rabiya Farooqi, Atika Farooqi, Abdullah, Abul Manan, Arshad, Shehzad Yousaf, Sajjad Yousaf, and others, forcibly evicted her from her home, took control of her dowry, 17 tolas of gold, and other valuable belongings, and filed false criminal cases against her brother. Furthermore, the accused physically assaulted and brutally beat her brother, causing severe emotional and physical distress to the entire family. They are also continuously harassing Mrs. Zumar Fatima and her brother by using political references and influence, attempting to pressure them into surrendering their legal rights. ⸻ Inheritance Rights The property was legally owned by her late husband, Mr. Khubaib Ammar, and the lawful inheritance was transferred to his children and widow. Despite this, the accused illegally occupied the house for 6 years, inflicting continuous suffering and depriving the widow of her rightful property. ⸻ Punjab Government’s Widow & Orphan Protection Bill – Special Directions by CM Punjab Mrs. Maryam Nawaz Under this newly implemented law for widow and orphan protection, Mrs. Zumar Fatima (currently overseas) submitted an application to DCO Jhang. The DCO ordered the immediate evacuation of the property and gave the illegal occupants a 2-hour deadline. However, the accused: • Locked the house from inside for 8–10 hours, • Looted all remaining valuables, • Completely vandalised and destroyed the property. ⸻ In the application submitted to the DCO, Mrs. Zumar Fatima clearly mentioned and requested the recovery of her dowry items and 17 tolas of gold, which were unlawfully taken by the accused. However, upon entering the property, nothing was found at all — no gold, no dowry, and not a single personal belonging. Only destroyed, damaged, and burnt property was left behind. This confirms the premeditated criminal intent of the accused to loot everything, erase evidence, and cause maximum harm to the widow and her children. ⸻ (Video Evidence) The original video of the house before it was demolished is already in the possession of the AC of Pera Force, the Sub-Registrar, and the Girdawar of the the video , my complete dowry items were clearly visible, including my electronic appliances, air conditioners, furniture, daily-use household items, my husband’s belongings, and all other home appliances. All these items were properly installed and were present in the house at the time when the AC of Pera Force, the Sub-Registrar, and the Girdawar visited the property and recorded the video as official evidence. Dear ICP community, the Internet Computer has now been running strong for 5 years 👏👏👏 Here is a celebratory preview of ICP "cloud engines," the sovereign frontier cloud technology the network shall soon provide from Main points: — Cloud engines enable anyone to spin up their own sovereign frontier cloud. The technology involves an extraordinary inventive step, in which cloud is created from a mathematically secure network of nodes. The nodes run as part of the Internet Computer network ( but are selected and configured by the cloud engine's owner. — The frontier cloud provided by engines is strongly focused on enabling AI agents to build and update online applications and services for us. The world is changing fast, and nearly all new online apps and services are already being built with the help of AI, and thus cloud engines target the future of cloud. — Software hosted on cloud engines is tamperproof, which means that it is immune to infrastructure hacks, because it runs inside a mathematically secure network protocol, rather than on computers directly. This means that AI agents, and those building with them, don't need to have a security team in the loop, or to trust someone else's security team. This is crucial, because in the future, non technical people will demand the freedom to build with full automation — where they just need to issue instructions to AI about what to build, and don't need to worry about anything or anyone else. Of course, apps and services running on engines are also vastly safer from the new breed of hacker being enabled by frontier AI. (The cloud engines themselves are also "tamperproof." Even if a hacker gains physical access to some portion of a cloud engine's nodes, and can make arbitrary changes, the computations and data of the hosted apps and services cannot be corrupted or interrupted so long as the network's fault bounds aren't exceeded. The recent hack of Vercel, a major cloud platform, which gave hackers access to the apps it hosted, provides additional perspective on the importance of this advantage.) — Software hosted on cloud engines is guaranteed to run, so long as a sufficient number of the engine's nodes are running. This means that AI can build applications and services without the need to have a human systems admin team constantly tinkering with the underlying platform to keep it running, which is again crucial, because in the future, non technical people will expect the freedom to use AI to build without the support of others. — New frontier programming language technology, in the form of the Motoko language developed by Caffeine Labs, leverages seminal "orthogonal persistence" technology that unifies program logic and data to deliver further unlocks for AI (Motoko is the first computer language being developed that targets agents that are writing software rather than humans engineers per se). Nowadays, AI can build and update production apps at a prodigious rate, even at the speed of conversation. But it can also make mistakes, and there's a risk that an update it creates might be "lossy" in the sense it causes some transformed data to be lost. Again, in this new world, it's both undesirable and impractical for everyone to have to have a systems admin team on-hand to detect lossy updates and roll them back, but Motoko provides a solution: it can detect new software updates are lossy before they are applied, reducing potentially catastrophic errors by AI to harmless coding retries. — Software hosted on cloud engines is "serverless" but unlike traditional serverless software, directly it directly incorporates data through "orthogonal persistence." Another key purpose is simplify backend software logic and fuel the modeling power of AI by increasing abstraction (sorry for the technical language!!!). Put simply, this enables AI to produce more sophisticated backends, faster, and at dramatically lower costs, as measured by the number AI API tokens consumed during coding. (Tip for the technical: orthogonal persistence is a new paradigm where "the program is the database," and data lives inside program variables, which is possible because it's as if hosted software runs forever in persistent memory). — An expanding database of skills at shall make it possible to develop and directly deploy apps and services to your cloud engines directly from Claude Code, Perplexity, Codex and other AI platforms. Further, your account on can be connected, so that new apps and updates created through conversation automatically appear hosted from your cloud engine. In the future, R&D is going to be very seamless. You converse with AI, and your secure and unstoppable apps or services are created or updated. Cloud engines are designed to directly support this "self-writing cloud" future where we can work hands-free. — Tech sovereignty is becoming a huge issue worldwide, with governments and corporations seeking to create sovereign tech stacks owing to geopolitical tensions. Increasingly, people are realizing that tech provided by foreign nations can come with hidden backdoors and kills switches, from the base platform, right up through hosted apps and services. ICP technology is open source, and those building on ICP using AI own their own source code. When you have the source code, you can verify that there are no backdoors, and when you own the source code thanks to AI, you can update it at will, freeing you from vendor lock-in. But cloud engines take sovereignty much further... — You create a cloud engine by selecting the nodes that will be combined. You can choose the class of nodes used, and their number, but more importantly, you can choose who operates the nodes, and where they are located. Almost any configuration is possible, because the Internet Computer scales the security privileges afforded to hosted software within the network according to configuration (software hosted on cloud engines can directly interoperate with software on other engines and traditional subnets, but base restrictions are applied according to security rules). A cloud engine can be created within a region such as Europe, to comply with regs such as GDPR, or completely within a sovereign state like Switzerland or Pakistan. But cloud engines go further still... — Sovereignty is also about freedom from vendor lock-in. Cloud engines are essentially ICP (Internet Computer Protocol) network configurations, and this means the underlying compute nodes they combine can be swapped out without interrupting their hosted apps and services. This is a big deal. In addition, cloud engines now support nodes that are instances running on Big Tech's clouds, in addition to nodes that are dedicated specialized hardware, as per the Gen I and Gen II nodes that dominate the Internet Computer today. For example, it is possible to have an engine running across different AWS data centers, say, and then reconfigure the engine to run across a mixture of AWS, Google, Azure and Hetzner for even more resilience, without the users of hosted apps and services noticing a thing. That's true freedom. — Sovereign AI is becoming increasingly important too, and cloud engines allow special "AI nodes" to be added to them, so that hosted software can perform inference on hardware provisioned by the owner from a location the owner has selected. Even though the AI nodes are only accessible within the cloud engine, they can still benefit from the forthcoming Internet Intelligence Gateway (IG), which will make it possible to validate inference performed on key frontier open weights LLMs, even when the inference is performed on completely independent AI clouds. When the results of inference are received, this technology can verify that neither the prompt+context (input) nor the inference result (output) have been modified, and that the results were produced by the precise LLM expected. This ensures that AI clouds don't cheat by running inference on cheaper models than are being paid for, and bad actors aren't modifying the inputs or outputs to surreptitiously insert advertising into results, say, or change facts, or insert malware when code is being generated. What's super cool about this technology is the cost of the verification is scalable. A very valuable additional security can be achieved with only 1-2% of extra cost. — Scaling apps and services when they hit capacity limits is another thorny problem that cloud engines help the world address. Engines make scaling possible without rewriting or reconfiguring software. The query workload capacity of hosted software can be horizontally scaled simply by adding new nodes to an engine, and nodes can also be added in geographical proximity to demand. Meanwhile, update workload capacity can first be scaled-up by swapping an engine's nodes out for the next class up, and then when no larger class of node is available, horizontally scaled-out by "splitting" the engine into two, which doubles available capacity. (Technical tip: horizontally scaling update capacity by splitting engines requires multi-canister architectures). — For those who have been following how Caffeine builds apps that can efficiently store large numbers of files, I should mention that apps built on cloud engines will also support the new ICP Blob Storage cloud network (since cloud engines currently have up to about 3 TB of memory, which apps storing large amounts of files can easily exceed). We are also working on allowing blob storage nodes to be added to cloud engines, to enable sovereign mass blob storage within an engine, similarly to how AI nodes can be added currently. — Lastly, but certainly not least, I should mention that cloud engines are multi-blockchain capable, and ready for digital assets, thanks to the clever math at their core. For example, an e-commerce service built on a cloud engine can securely accept and custody stablecoin payments, or a multi-chain DEX could be hosted. Further, engines can support software autonomy (software orchestrated and controlled by other autonomous software, in a decentralized way) and can themselves be orchestrated by SNS technology, and thus run autonomously too. Today, though, the focus is on *mainstream* cloud. This year, the cloud industry will generate approximately one trillion dollars in revenue. That number is already huge, but is expected to grow to two trillion dollars by 2030. After years of continuous development, which have seen more than $500m spent on R&D, the Internet Computer network is now tacking directly toward this mainstream cloud market with cloud engine technology. In their first version, cloud engines are not meant to be a cloud panacea. For example, currently they are not ideal for working with big data. You should use something like DataBricks for that. Cloud engines are carefully targeted at enabling AI to produce traditional online applications and services, including SaaS, in a safer and more productive way, which represents a new market segment with tremendous potential. Of course, DFINITY will continue to work relentlessly to push forward ICP's capabilities, so expect further developments. It's worth mentioning that this cloud segment isn't just about creating new apps and services using AI, it's also about replacing legacy systems and apps built on super expensive SaaS services. Caffeine Labs is working to produce technology (Caffeine Snorkel) that can study an enterprise's legacy systems and app built on SaaS, create replacement systems and apps, and migrate the data, while supporting key stakeholders through the process over email and chat, with full automation. Thus the legacy systems and SaaS markets shall also be addressed by cloud engines. Zooming out, and reasoning in a more metaphysical way, we believe, as we always have, that there is room for a new kind of cloud created by mathematical networks, that provides seminal advances in the fields of security and resilience, as well as true sovereignty and freedom from lock-in. That this same technology, with the help of additional technologies like orthogonal persistence and Motoko, enables AI to build for us without the need for so much oversight, and to create more backend sophistication while consuming fewer AI API tokens, enables ICP to bring game-changing advances to the world. Cloud engines will work synergistically with the Intelligence Gateway, which will enable apps and services running on engines to seamlessly leverage AI, wherever that AI is running, while providing verifiability at extremely low cost for open weights frontier models. (Tip for the technical: orthogonal persistence is a new paradigm where "the program is the database," and data lives inside program variables, which is possible because it's as if hosted software runs forever in persistent memory). — An expanding database of skills at shall make it possible to develop and directly deploy apps and services to your cloud engines directly from Claude Code, Perplexity, Codex and other AI platforms. Further, your account on can be connected, so that new apps and updates created through conversation automatically appear hosted from your cloud engine. In the future, R&D is going to be very seamless. You converse with AI, and your secure and unstoppable apps or services are created or updated. Cloud engines are designed to directly support this "self-writing cloud" future where we can work hands-free. — Tech sovereignty is becoming a huge issue worldwide, with governments and corporations seeking to create sovereign tech stacks owing to geopolitical tensions. Increasingly, people are realizing that tech provided by foreign nations can come with hidden backdoors and kills switches, from the base platform, right up through hosted apps and services. ICP technology is open source, and those building on ICP using AI own their own source code. When you have the source code, you can verify that there are no backdoors, and when you own the source code thanks to AI, you can update it at will, freeing you from vendor lock-in. But cloud engines take sovereignty much further... — You create a cloud engine by selecting the nodes that will be combined. You can choose the class of nodes used, and their number, but more importantly, you can choose who operates the nodes, and where they are located. Almost any configuration is possible, because the Internet Computer scales the security privileges afforded to hosted software within the network according to configuration (software hosted on cloud engines can directly interoperate with software on other engines and traditional subnets, but base restrictions are applied according to security rules). A cloud engine can be created within a region such as Europe, to comply with regs such as GDPR, or completely within a sovereign state like Switzerland or Pakistan. But cloud engines go further still... — Sovereignty is also about freedom from vendor lock-in. Cloud engines are essentially ICP (Internet Computer Protocol) network configurations, and this means the underlying compute nodes they combine can be swapped out without interrupting their hosted apps and services. This is a big deal. In addition, cloud engines now support nodes that are instances running on Big Tech's clouds, in addition to nodes that are dedicated specialized hardware, as per the Gen I and Gen II nodes that dominate the Internet Computer today. For example, it is possible to have an engine running across different AWS data centers, say, and then reconfigure the engine to run across a mixture of AWS, Google, Azure and Hetzner for even more resilience, without the users of hosted apps and services noticing a thing. That's true freedom. — Sovereign AI is becoming increasingly important too, and cloud engines allow special "AI nodes" to be added to them, so that hosted software can perform inference on hardware provisioned by the owner from a location the owner has selected. Even though the AI nodes are only accessible within the cloud engine, they can still benefit from the forthcoming Internet Intelligence Gateway (IG), which will make it possible to validate inference performed on key frontier open weights LLMs, even when the inference is performed on completely independent AI clouds. When the results of inference are received, this technology can verify that neither the prompt+context (input) nor the inference result (output) have been modified, and that the results were produced by the precise LLM expected. This ensures that AI clouds don't cheat by running inference on cheaper models than are being paid for, and bad actors aren't modifying the inputs or outputs to surreptitiously insert advertising into results, say, or change facts, or insert malware when code is being generated. What's super cool about this technology is the cost of the verification is scalable. A very valuable additional security can be achieved with only 1-2% of extra cost. — Scaling apps and services when they hit capacity limits is another thorny problem that cloud engines help the world address. Engines make scaling possible without rewriting or reconfiguring software. The query workload capacity of hosted software can be horizontally scaled simply by adding new nodes to an engine, and nodes can also be added in geographical proximity to demand. Meanwhile, update workload capacity can first be scaled-up by swapping an engine's nodes out for the next class up, and then when no larger class of node is available, horizontally scaled-out by "splitting" the engine into two, which doubles available capacity. (Technical tip: horizontally scaling update capacity by splitting engines requires multi-canister architectures). — For those who have been following how Caffeine builds apps that can efficiently store large numbers of files, I should mention that apps built on cloud engines will also support the new ICP Blob Storage cloud network (since cloud engines currently have up to about 3 TB of memory, which apps storing large amounts of files can easily exceed). We are also working on allowing blob storage nodes to be added to cloud engines, to enable sovereign mass blob storage within an engine, similarly to how AI nodes can be added currently. — Lastly, but certainly not least, I should mention that cloud engines are multi-blockchain capable, and ready for digital assets, thanks to the clever math at their core. For example, an e-commerce service built on a cloud engine can securely accept and custody stablecoin payments, or a multi-chain DEX could be hosted. Further, engines can support software autonomy (software orchestrated and controlled by other autonomous software, in a decentralized way) and can themselves be orchestrated by SNS technology, and thus run autonomously too. Today, though, the focus is on *mainstream* cloud. This year, the cloud industry will generate approximately one trillion dollars in revenue. That number is already huge, but is expected to grow to two trillion dollars by 2030. After years of continuous development, which have seen more than $500m spent on R&D, the Internet Computer network is now tacking directly toward this mainstream cloud market with cloud engine technology. In their first version, cloud engines are not meant to be a cloud panacea. For example, currently they are not ideal for working with big data. You should use something like DataBricks for that. Cloud engines are carefully targeted at enabling AI to produce traditional online applications and services, including SaaS, in a safer and more productive way, which represents a new market segment with tremendous potential. Of course, DFINITY will continue to work relentlessly to push forward ICP's capabilities, so expect further developments. It's worth mentioning that this cloud segment isn't just about creating new apps and services using AI, it's also about replacing legacy systems and apps built on super expensive SaaS services. Caffeine Labs is working to produce technology (Caffeine Snorkel) that can study an enterprise's legacy systems and app built on SaaS, create replacement systems and apps, and migrate the data, while supporting key stakeholders through the process over email and chat, with full automation. Thus the legacy systems and SaaS markets shall also be addressed by cloud engines. Zooming out, and reasoning in a more metaphysical way, we believe, as we always have, that there is room for a new kind of cloud created by mathematical networks, that provides seminal advances in the fields of security and resilience, as well as true sovereignty and freedom from lock-in. That this same technology, with the help of additional technologies like orthogonal persistence and Motoko, enables AI to build for us without the need for so much oversight, and to create more backend sophistication while consuming fewer AI API tokens, enables ICP to bring game-changing advances to the world. Cloud engines will work synergistically with the Intelligence Gateway, which will enable apps and services running on engines to seamlessly leverage AI, wherever that AI is running, while providing verifiability at extremely low cost for open weights frontier models. We believe that cloud engines represent an inflection point in the storied history of the Internet Computer project, and I'm very proud to be sharing the details with you on the network's fifth birthday 💪 I'll be back with more news soon!!

A video-text summary of my argument that we now live in the age of TECHNOFEUDALISM (in 16', 2000 words): Wherever we turn, we witness the triumph of capital. Capital has prevailed everywhere: in warehouses, factories, offices, universities, public hospitals, the media – in space but also in the microcosm of genetic engineering. So, how do I dare claim that capitalism has been killed? By whom? The deliciously ironic answer is that capitalism was killed by its own hand… by capital! If I am right, the issue is not what AI will do to us in the future but what has already happened: Capital became so dominant that it mutated into a variant so toxic that, like a stupid virus, it killed off its host, capitalism, replacing it with something far, far worse. This new mutant capital, that killed capitalism, lives in the proverbial cloud – so, let us call it cloud capital. What is cloud capital? What makes it so different? Cloud capital, of course, does not really live up in the cloud. It lives down on Earth, comprising networked machines, server farms, cell towers, software, AI-driven algorithms – and of course it lives on our oceans’ floors where untold miles of optic fibre cables rest. Unlike traditional capital, from fishing rods to the steam-engines of the Industrial Revolution to today’s modern industrial robots that are produced means of production, cloud capital does not produce anything – it comprises machines manufactured so as to modify human behaviour. That’s what Amazon’s Alexa or Google’s Assistant or Apple’s Siri is: It is a produced means of behavioural modification. It is a machine, a piece of capital, which we train to train us to train it to determine that which we want. And, once we want it, the same networked machine sells it to us, directly, bypassing markets. As if that were not enough, the same machinery succeeds in making us sustain the enormous behavioural modification machine network to which it belongs with our free voluntary labour. We are sustaining it as we post reviews, rate products, upload videos, rants, photos - we help reproduce cloud capital without getting a penny for our labour. In essence, it has turned us into its cloud serfs! Meanwhile, in the factories and the warehouses, where waged proletarians work under increasingly precarious conditions, the same algorithms that modify our behaviour and sell products to us directly – those algorithms are deployed, usually by digital devices tied to the workers’ wrists, to make proletarians, workers in the warehouses, in the factories work faster, to direct and to monitor them in real time. I started by saying that wherever we turn, we stumble on the triumph of capital. But it is cloud capital that is the real winner. It is amazing how it performs, at once, five roles that used to be beyond capital’s capacities: Cloud capital grabs our attention. It manufactures our desires. It sells to us, directly, outside any traditional markets, that which is going to satiate the desires it made us have. It drives proletarian labour inside the workplaces. And it elicits massive free labour from us, its cloud-serfs. Is it surprising that the owners of this cloud capital – let’s call them cloudalists – have a hitherto undreamt power to extract? To extract gargantuan surplus value from proletarians; untold quantities of free labour from almost everyone; and mind-numbing cloud rents from vassal capitalists – from sellers? Is it a wonder that they are vastly more powerful than Henry Ford or Rupert Murdoch could ever be? “Hang on”, I hear you say. “Is Jeff Bezos really different to Henry Ford? Aren’t they all a species of monopoly capitalists? Monopolists?” No, is not a monopolistic capitalist enterprise. The moment you enter you have exited capitalism altogether! Sure enough, the place is teaming with buyers and sellers. So, yes, it is an enormous trading platform but, no, a market it certainly is not! One man called Jeff owns everything. But he is much, much more than a mere monopolist. Jeff doesn’t own the factories that produce the stuff sold on his platform by traditional capitalists who have to use it to ply their trade. What he does own is more important: Jeff owns the algorithm that decides which products you see and which you don’t – the very algorithm that you have trained to know you perfectly so that it matches youwith a seller, whom it also knows perfectly well, with a view to maximising the probability that every such match, transaction, will generate, for Jeff, the highest rent that Jeff can charge the seller for what you buy: up to 40% of what you pay is pocketed by Jeff, the cloudalist! The mind rebels at the enormity but also the radical novelty of this kind of exploitation: The same algorithm that we help train in real time to know us inside out - that same algorithm both modifies our preferences and administers the selection and delivery of commodities that will satisfy these preferences. If you and I were to type “electric bicycles” or “binoculars” while in you and I would get totally different recommendations. In a traditional market or shopping mall it would be as if you and I were walking next to each other, our eyes trained in the same direction, the same shop window, but we were to see different things depending on what Jeff’s algorithm wants each one of us to see. Everyone navigating around – except Jeff Bezos of course – everyone in is wandering around in algorithmically constructed isolation as if in a Panopticon where, unable to see each other, we only see Jeff’s all-seeing algorithm or, more accurately, only what his algorithm allows us to see with a view to maximising his cloud rent – which is, of course, today’s version of the ground rent that the feudal lords used to extract from their vassals and their peasants. This is not capitalism. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to technofeudalism! How did cloud capital kill capitalism? How did it rise up? Who paid for it? Capitalism, lest we forget, had two pillars: markets and profit. Of course, markets and profit remain ubiquitous. Nevertheless, cloud capital has evicted both markets and profit from the centre of our socioeconomic system, pushing them out to its margins, and replacing them: Markets, the medium of capitalism, have been replaced by cloud fiefs – digital trading platforms like or Alibaba which, as we saw, look like, but are not, markets. And Profit? The fuel of capitalism? Well, that has been replaced by its feudal predecessor: rent. But, specifically, a new form of rent, a cloud rent that must be paid for access to those cloud fiefs or digital platforms. But how did cloud capital emerge?It began life in the late 1990s when the original Internet, which was a Commons – it functioned as a capitalism-free-zone – that original Internet, Internet 1.0 if you want, was privatised by the emergent Big Tech. Who paid for the trillions it cost to manufacture and to accumulate cloud capital so quickly in the hands of so very few cloudalists? The startling answer is: The G7 countries’ central banks, mostly! How did that happen? Well, by accident, or – to be more precise – by… crisis! After the financial sector collapse of 2008, our central bankers printed up to $35 trillion to bail out the bankers at a time when the governments were subjecting our peoples to harsh austerity. Capitalists were clever enough to foresee that the many would be too impecunious to buy their stuff. So, instead of investing, they took the central bank money to the stock exchange and the bond markets, where they bought shares, bonds – along with yachts, art, bitcoin, NFTs any ‘asset’ they could lay their hands on. The only capitalists who actually invested in capital were Big Tech owners. For example, 9 out of every 10 dollars that went into creating Facebook came from these central bank monies! That’s how cloud capital was financed and how the cloudalists became our new ruling class. As a result, real power today resides not with the owners of machinery, buildings, railway and phone networks, industrial robots. These old-fashioned, terrestrial capitalists continue to extract surplus value from waged labour, but they are no longer in charge, as they used to be. They have become vassals in relation to the owners of cloud capital, of the cloudalists. As for the rest of us, we have returned to our former status as serfs, contributing to the wealth and power of the new ruling class with our unpaid labour — in addition to the waged labour we perform, when we get the chance to do it. But surely, someone will say, this is still capitalism, isn’t it? So, you are still unconvinced? I know, it is hard to part with the term, with the word, capitalism. It is not just liberals who think of capitalism like fish think of the water they swim in – as natural. Socialists too need to feel that our purpose in life, the reason we landed on this Earth, is to overthrow capitalism. The news that I bring that capital beat us to it, and now we have something worse in capitalism’s place, that news is hard to accept. Indeed, it is mostly my fellow-travelling leftist friends who try to dissuade me – to convince me that, yes, cloud capital may be important but “this is still capitalism mate”. Let’s call it rentier capitalism or monopoly capitalism, they suggest. But that simply will not do! Cloud rent is not like ground rent, because it requires massive investment in new tech. And it is not monopoly rent either, because Bezos and Zuckerberg, instead of monopolising markets to sell their manufactures (like Ford and Eddison did), Bezos and Zuckerberg have replaced markets and have no interest in manufacturing anything (unlike Henry Ford and Thomas Eddison). So, how do I dare claim that capitalism has been killed? By whom? The deliciously ironic answer is that capitalism was killed by its own hand… by capital! If I am right, the issue is not what AI will do to us in the future but what has already happened: Capital became so dominant that it mutated into a variant so toxic that, like a stupid virus, it killed off its host, capitalism, replacing it with something far, far worse. This new mutant capital, that killed capitalism, lives in the proverbial cloud – so, let us call it cloud capital. What is cloud capital? What makes it so different? Cloud capital, of course, does not really live up in the cloud. It lives down on Earth, comprising networked machines, server farms, cell towers, software, AI-driven algorithms – and of course it lives on our oceans’ floors where untold miles of optic fibre cables rest. Unlike traditional capital, from fishing rods to the steam-engines of the Industrial Revolution to today’s modern industrial robots that are produced means of production, cloud capital does not produce anything – it comprises machines manufactured so as to modify human behaviour. That’s what Amazon’s Alexa or Google’s Assistant or Apple’s Siri is: It is a produced means of behavioural modification. It is a machine, a piece of capital, which we train to train us to train it to determine that which we want. And, once we want it, the same networked machine sells it to us, directly, bypassing markets. As if that were not enough, the same machinery succeeds in making us sustain the enormous behavioural modification machine network to which it belongs with our free voluntary labour. We are sustaining it as we post reviews, rate products, upload videos, rants, photos - we help reproduce cloud capital without getting a penny for our labour. In essence, it has turned us into its cloud serfs! Meanwhile, in the factories and the warehouses, where waged proletarians work under increasingly precarious conditions, the same algorithms that modify our behaviour and sell products to us directly – those algorithms are deployed, usually by digital devices tied to the workers’ wrists, to make proletarians, workers in the warehouses, in the factories work faster, to direct and to monitor them in real time. I started by saying that wherever we turn, we stumble on the triumph of capital. But it is cloud capital that is the real winner. It is amazing how it performs, at once, five roles that used to be beyond capital’s capacities: Cloud capital grabs our attention. It manufactures our desires. It sells to us, directly, outside any traditional markets, that which is going to satiate the desires it made us have. It drives proletarian labour inside the workplaces. And it elicits massive free labour from us, its cloud-serfs. Is it surprising that the owners of this cloud capital – let’s call them cloudalists – have a hitherto undreamt power to extract? To extract gargantuan surplus value from proletarians; untold quantities of free labour from almost everyone; and mind-numbing cloud rents from vassal capitalists – from sellers? Is it a wonder that they are vastly more powerful than Henry Ford or Rupert Murdoch could ever be? “Hang on”, I hear you say. “Is Jeff Bezos really different to Henry Ford? Aren’t they all a species of monopoly capitalists? Monopolists?” No, is not a monopolistic capitalist enterprise. The moment you enter you have exited capitalism altogether! Sure enough, the place is teaming with buyers and sellers. So, yes, it is an enormous trading platform but, no, a market it certainly is not! One man called Jeff owns everything. But he is much, much more than a mere monopolist. Jeff doesn’t own the factories that produce the stuff sold on his platform by traditional capitalists who have to use it to ply their trade. What he does own is more important: Jeff owns the algorithm that decides which products you see and which you don’t – the very algorithm that you have trained to know you perfectly so that it matches youwith a seller, whom it also knows perfectly well, with a view to maximising the probability that every such match, transaction, will generate, for Jeff, the highest rent that Jeff can charge the seller for what you buy: up to 40% of what you pay is pocketed by Jeff, the cloudalist! The mind rebels at the enormity but also the radical novelty of this kind of exploitation: The same algorithm that we help train in real time to know us inside out - that same algorithm both modifies our preferences and administers the selection and delivery of commodities that will satisfy these preferences. If you and I were to type “electric bicycles” or “binoculars” while in you and I would get totally different recommendations. In a traditional market or shopping mall it would be as if you and I were walking next to each other, our eyes trained in the same direction, the same shop window, but we were to see different things depending on what Jeff’s algorithm wants each one of us to see. Everyone navigating around – except Jeff Bezos of course – everyone in is wandering around in algorithmically constructed isolation as if in a Panopticon where, unable to see each other, we only see Jeff’s all-seeing algorithm or, more accurately, only what his algorithm allows us to see with a view to maximising his cloud rent – which is, of course, today’s version of the ground rent that the feudal lords used to extract from their vassals and their peasants. This is not capitalism. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to technofeudalism! How did cloud capital kill capitalism? How did it rise up? Who paid for it? Capitalism, lest we forget, had two pillars: markets and profit. Of course, markets and profit remain ubiquitous. Nevertheless, cloud capital has evicted both markets and profit from the centre of our socioeconomic system, pushing them out to its margins, and replacing them: Markets, the medium of capitalism, have been replaced by cloud fiefs – digital trading platforms like or Alibaba which, as we saw, look like, but are not, markets. And Profit? The fuel of capitalism? Well, that has been replaced by its feudal predecessor: rent. But, specifically, a new form of rent, a cloud rent that must be paid for access to those cloud fiefs or digital platforms. But how did cloud capital emerge?It began life in the late 1990s when the original Internet, which was a Commons – it functioned as a capitalism-free-zone – that original Internet, Internet 1.0 if you want, was privatised by the emergent Big Tech. Who paid for the trillions it cost to manufacture and to accumulate cloud capital so quickly in the hands of so very few cloudalists? The startling answer is: The G7 countries’ central banks, mostly! How did that happen? Well, by accident, or – to be more precise – by… crisis! After the financial sector collapse of 2008, our central bankers printed up to $35 trillion to bail out the bankers at a time when the governments were subjecting our peoples to harsh austerity. Capitalists were clever enough to foresee that the many would be too impecunious to buy their stuff. So, instead of investing, they took the central bank money to the stock exchange and the bond markets, where they bought shares, bonds – along with yachts, art, bitcoin, NFTs any ‘asset’ they could lay their hands on. The only capitalists who actually invested in capital were Big Tech owners. For example, 9 out of every 10 dollars that went into creating Facebook came from these central bank monies! That’s how cloud capital was financed and how the cloudalists became our new ruling class. As a result, real power today resides not with the owners of machinery, buildings, railway and phone networks, industrial robots. These old-fashioned, terrestrial capitalists continue to extract surplus value from waged labour, but they are no longer in charge, as they used to be. They have become vassals in relation to the owners of cloud capital, of the cloudalists. As for the rest of us, we have returned to our former status as serfs, contributing to the wealth and power of the new ruling class with our unpaid labour — in addition to the waged labour we perform, when we get the chance to do it. But surely, someone will say, this is still capitalism, isn’t it? So, you are still unconvinced? I know, it is hard to part with the term, with the word, capitalism. It is not just liberals who think of capitalism like fish think of the water they swim in – as natural. Socialists too need to feel that our purpose in life, the reason we landed on this Earth, is to overthrow capitalism. The news that I bring that capital beat us to it, and now we have something worse in capitalism’s place, that news is hard to accept. Indeed, it is mostly my fellow-travelling leftist friends who try to dissuade me – to convince me that, yes, cloud capital may be important but “this is still capitalism mate”. Thermodynamic computing is here There is a new computing paradigm emerging from the noise, and its arrival may be as significant as the dawn of deep learning or the advent of cloud virtualization. A new company, Extropic, has just launched its first thermodynamic computer, a device they call a TSU, or Thermal Sampling Unit. While the web is already filling with deep technical dives, what’s more important for most of us is building a clear intuition for what this technology is, how it’s fundamentally different from anything that’s come before, and why it’s generating so much excitement. This isn’t just another chip; it’s a new way to think about computation itself. Seeing is Believing: Solving Puzzles in One Shot To understand what a TSU does, let’s look at two classic, notoriously difficult computer science problems: Sudoku and the Eight Queens problem. When you or I solve a Sudoku, we use a process of sequential logic, guess-and-check, and backtracking. We make an assumption, follow its logical conclusion, and if we hit a dead end, we erase and try again. A classical computer does the same, just much faster. A TSU, however, approaches this in a completely different way. Using a TSU simulator, one can “program” the problem by first clamping the known values—the clues already on the board. Then, you program in the constraints: no duplicate numbers in any row, column, or 3x3 square. With the problem thus defined, the TSU doesn’t “search” for a solution; it anneals one. In a single computational step, the solution simply emerges, backfilling all the empty squares correctly. The same principle applies to the Eight Queens problem, a challenge to place eight queens on a chessboard so that none can attack any other. This is a complex combinatorial problem with 92 distinct solutions. A classical computer would have to iteratively search for these. A TSU, by contrast, can be programmed with the constraints (the “anti-affinity” between queens on the same row, column, or diagonal) and then set to sample the “solution space.” In this context, a valid solution is one with a “problem energy” of zero. The TSU’s physical nature allows it to naturally find these zero-energy states. A simulation of this process shows the TSU discovering all 92 unique solutions, demonstrating its ability to not just find an answer, but to explore the entire landscape of all correct answers. This is a fundamentally new approach, one that bypasses the brute-force, iterative methods we’ve relied on for decades. The Physics of Computation: Using Noise, Not Fighting It This new power comes from a radical design philosophy. For the last 70 years, computing has been about one thing: order. We build chips that are deterministic, logical, and precise. The great enemy has always been noise, heat, and randomness. We spend billions on cooling and error correction to eliminate these very things. Quantum computing, in many ways, is the ultimate expression of this, requiring temperatures near absolute zero to eliminate all thermal noise and achieve quantum coherence. Thermodynamic computing is the polar opposite. It doesn’t fight the noise; it uses it. The TSU is built on the understanding that the natural, stochastic noise from “leaky” transistors—the very randomness we’ve tried to engineer out of existence—is itself a powerful computational resource. Think of it this way: a GPU, which is central to today’s AI, has to simulate noise. When a generative AI model creates a new image or sentence, it’s using complex algorithms to fake randomness. The TSU doesn’t need to fake it; it harnesses the actual physical randomness of thermodynamics. It is a piece of hardware that directly computes with probability. This makes it a hybrid, sitting somewhere between a purely analog computer (which might use light or sound waves to compute) and a digital GPU. It’s a physical device that leverages the laws of physics itself to find solutions, rather than just using logic gates to simulate them. From a Lost Hiker to a Million Bouncy Balls Perhaps the best way to build intuition is with a metaphor. Imagine that solving a complex optimization problem is like trying to find the lowest point of altitude in a 100-square-mile mountainous landscape. Classical computing, using an algorithm like gradient descent, is like being a single hiker dropped into this landscape at night. You have no map or satellite view. All you have is an altimeter and the sensation of the slope under your feet. You can only take one step at a time, always walking downhill, hoping you don’t get stuck in a small local valley when the true, lowest canyon is miles away. Thermodynamic computing is a completely different approach. It’s like having a million bouncy balls and a helicopter. You drop all million balls simultaneously across the entire 100-square-mile landscape. Then, you “turn on an earthquake,” shaking the entire system. The balls bounce and jostle, but as the shaking (the “annealing”) subsides, where do they all end up? They naturally settle into the lowest points. The balls that collect in the deepest valley represent the optimal solution. The TSU is, in essence, a physical device for dropping those million balls at once and letting the laws of thermodynamics find the lowest “energy” state for you, all at the same time. Beyond Puzzles: The Real-World Impact This is far more than just a clever way to solve brain teasers. This ability to instantly find the lowest energy state for a complex, constrained system has staggering real-world applications. One of the most immediate is protein folding. Companies like Google’s DeepMind have made incredible progress with AI like AlphaFold, which predicts protein structures. But this is still a predictive model trained on existing data. A TSU could potentially solve the folding problem directly, treating the protein as a system of atomic affinities and repulsions and finding its most stable, lowest-energy configuration almost instantaneously. This could revolutionize drug discovery and materials science. An even more profound possibility lies in nuclear fusion. One of the greatest engineering challenges in history is controlling the superheated plasma within a tokamak reactor. This requires shaping unimaginably complex magnetic containment fields in real-time to prevent the plasma from touching the reactor walls. This is a real-time optimization problem so complex it’s currently beyond our capabilities. A TSU, however, could be fast enough. Its ability to compute with electricity itself, rather than abstracting the problem through layers of software, might allow it to update the magnetic fields fast enough to stabilize the fusion reaction. One could even imagine a future where thermodynamic computing elements are built directly into the tokamak’s walls, allowing the reactor to physically and intelligently react to the plasma’s state in real time. A ‘GPT-2 Moment’ for a New Era It’s easy to become numb to hype, but what we are witnessing with the TSU feels different. Thermodynamic computing is here There is a new computing paradigm emerging from the noise, and its arrival may be as significant as the dawn of deep learning or the advent of cloud virtualization. A new company, Extropic, has just launched its first thermodynamic computer, a device they call a TSU, or Thermal Sampling Unit. While the web is already filling with deep technical dives, what’s more important for most of us is building a clear intuition for what this technology is, how it’s fundamentally different from anything that’s come before, and why it’s generating so much excitement. This isn’t just another chip; it’s a new way to think about computation itself. Seeing is Believing: Solving Puzzles in One Shot To understand what a TSU does, let’s look at two classic, notoriously difficult computer science problems: Sudoku and the Eight Queens problem. When you or I solve a Sudoku, we use a process of sequential logic, guess-and-check, and backtracking. During that period, she met and spoke with Detective Lieutenant Brian Tully, Mr. Mello, and Mr. Cosgrove. Her direct contact with Mr. Mello and Detective Lieutenant Tully resulted in Mr. Mello being disqualified from a now-dismissed 2024 case because his interactions with her made him a material defense witness. On December 14, 2023, she was interviewed by Detective Lieutenant Tully and Mr. Mello's investigator. On December 22, 2023, she was summoned to testify before the grand jury. In January 2024, she voluntarily provided her cell phone to Detective Lieutenant Tully for the MSP to prepare an extraction report, under a promise by Ken Mello and Tully that it would be redacted. On January 22, 2024, Detective Lieutenant Tully applied for a search warrant to seize Karen Read's cell phones. Information from Ms. Gaetani served as a substantial source of the probable cause in Tully's affidavit—paragraphs 72 to 89, I'd say a good 12 to 15 paragraphs dedicated to her. Mr. Cosgrove is currently seeking to search Ms. Read's phones in anticipation of seeking an indictment against her and Mr. Kearney for conspiracy to commit witness intimidation. What the fuck? Aiden Turtleboy Kearney's lawyers have confirmed in a bombshell filing that special prosecutor Robert Cosgrove is aiming to search Karen Read's phones for the purpose of criminally indicting Kearney and Read. I'm still not totally sure where he's getting that from—I went to the docket, I read the filing, and I still don't fully understand what he's referring to there. Maybe he's reading something I'm not. I don't know. And finally, point 13: As a result of Ms. Gaetani's civil complaint against him, Mr. Cosgrove voluntarily withdrew from the prosecution of the now-dismissed 2024 case because he, quote, “recognized the obvious conflict created by circumstances where a prosecutor is sued for intentionally harming a witness in a case where he is prosecuting.”

We are thinking of robots all wrong. Why a $1,500 robot is far more important to buy than a $20,000 one. And why it will pay for itself within a year. First of all, for the last eight years I've been a Silicon Valley housewife. Picking the kids up from school. Doing a variety of tasks taking care of them from feeding them to laundry. And I've already bought a $20,000 Neo from 1X and have built the most complete list on X of the robotics industry. Just to set the tone for this conversation. We must ask ourselves "what is the goal of a robot?" before we go into why typical American homeowners might want one, and shell out quite a bit of money for one, like the Neo. I grew up in Silicon Valley back when it was all orchards and the farmers taught me "pick the low hanging fruit first." What is the low hanging fruit in the American home? Laundry? Cleaning the toilets or your home? Watering the plants? Bringing you a beer? Nope. It is the preparation of food. Yesterday I got a new Posha robot, and the attached video with founder Raghav Gupta gets into depth about what the $1,500 robot does. Cooks meals. Far more time in the home is spent cooking meals than the other tasks and is far more complex than, say, folding laundry. But there is something I think everyone is missing in the discussion of robots: "what is the goal?" I've been doing consumer research talking with many around the world about these things. People tend to have a few goals: 1. Improve their lives. 2. Save them time. 3. Save them money. 4. Enable a new business. What is the best way to improve your life? Upgrade your food. This is very hard to do when both parents in a family are working their butts off to try to improve their careers. It gets worse when a single parent is trying to keep everything going. How many times have you decided to go out to eat rather than spend an hour cooking food? Doing that for a family of four in Silicon Valley costs $100+. And guarantees your family will overeat. I've done that many times while raising my kids, and often I can't say no when desert comes around. It gets worse if you take the easy route out at home. Put a pre-processed meal into the microwave, or heat up a frozen pizza. Horrible for everyone's health. But what if you could have a robot at home that cooks your meals? Then costs go down to less than $20 and ingredients get way way better. It gets worse when you consider a $20,000 humanoid. They aren't safe enough to trust around stoves yet. And their hands aren't yet dexterous enough to do that. I doubt my Neo will be allowed to cook meals over an open flame, and if so I will have to watch it to make sure it doesn't do anything wrong. (The Neo that arrives next year will be teleoperated by a human remotely and the risks that person does something, or misses oil catching on fire is just way too high). While neither robot will be able to do all food preparation (cutting chicken up into cubes, or cutting carrots or other fruits, for instance) this robot dramatically reduces the time needed for a human to make a meal and dramatically reduces the costs to do so. And, as we discuss in the video, when the Neo does arrive the Neo will be able to use this machine too, reducing time even more (and will be able to set the table and wash the dishes, saving even more time so you can answer more emails or learn more AI programs or, even, pay attention to your kids and give them a few more minutes of quality time). The robot industry should focus on the low hanging fruit first. Cooking meals is the biggest one to improve your life, save you time, and make your family healthier. It's why I bought one. And they actually make two: Your money is way better spent getting one of these than buying a humanoid. And if you do get a humanoid, like I am, they go together like peanut butter and jelly. ⚪️ sierra catalina has been saying this for years that our focus on humanoids is overblown and that specialized robots (you see my Matic Robots in the background to prove this point) are way better for most families.

The first false claim about Israel that I address in my forthcoming book, Israel on Trial: Examining the History, the Evidence, and the Law, is that Jews are colonizers in the land of Israel. What's the legal principle here? A man cannot trespass into his own home. So, whose home is it? The book in chapter one deals with the colonialist claim by outlining three different kinds of evidence outside of the Bible. Why three different kinds of evidence? Because in the courtroom we tell the jurors that one kind of evidence is good, two kind of evidence is great, three kinds of evidence—if they're independent and they didn't know each other and their incentive structure is such that they're not incentivized to create a story, and they intersect and corroborate one another—that means a great deal. So, what are the three pieces of evidence that we know can have no perverse incentive in this case? 1. Rocks in the ground, archeology from thousands of years ago. 2. Words on the page, documentary proof from hundreds or thousands of years ago. 3. And blood in the veins, DNA evidence that cannot be misconstrued. Let's go through a couple examples: 1. Josephus, the ancient historian of the first century, Jewish general turned priest turned Roman historian for the Emperor Vespasian, he writes, just like the Bible does, that in the temple in Jerusalem, there was a place with a stone that directed the priests where to walk on top of the parapet in order to trumpet to the citizenry in Jerusalem that the Sabbath/Shabbat was here, every Friday night, and that the Sabbath/Shabbat had closed every Saturday evening. And he tells us what it said in Hebrew: "To the place of trumpeting." And that there was no arrow, okay, the priests weren't stupid, but that was what it said in the stone. 2. Can we corroborate what Josephus wrote? Folks, the Israel Antiquities Authorities has recovered not one, but two such stones. You can see them for yourselves on the internet. They're amazing, because the stone itself is blemished, but the actual Hebrew writing is not only intact, but so crisp and clear and unambiguous that even my children, who are Jewish Day School, can read it today, 2,000 years later. And in Hebrew letters, those rocks on the ground, corroborating the words on the page say, "To the place of trumpeting." By the way, again, when we scrutinize incentives, these stones were written and they were placed thousands of years ago, long before there was ever such a thing as a Palestinian, long before there was ever such a thing as Muslim Arabs. Islam, remember, wasn't created until 610 AD. Muhammad himself isn't born until 570 AD. That means he is born exactly 500 years, to the letter, after the temple on which this stone was placed was destroyed. You didn't know there was gonna be a lawsuit 10 years from now, so what you said 10 years ago matters a great deal. . We just had a well-known, I guess you could call him a commentator on TV, Tucker Carlson, interview the U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, about this claim that Jews should have to have DNA tests before they can live in Israel. Even on its own terms, this claim fails, because the fact of the matter is that dozens of genetic studies have been conducted on the major Jewish populations around the world, the Syrian Jews, the Iraqi and Iranian Jews, the Ashkenazi Jews of Europe, etc... And these studies have all confirmed that not only are all of the major Jewish populations in the world are connected to one another, but that all our DNA also comes from one place 2,000 years ago, and that place is the Levant, the Middle East, where Israel is today. These tests show that of all the major Jewish populations in the world, the Iranian-Iraqi branch, the Persian branch, so to speak, is the furthest removed genetically from all the rest of us. Which is to say that I, being an Ashkenazi Jew, am closer in my DNA to a Syrian Jew, a Moroccan Jew, and an Italian Jew, than a Syrian or Moroccan Jew is to an Iraqi or Iranian Jew. Why does that matter? Remember your Bible. Remember what the rocks in the ground show. In 586 B.C., the Babylonians, Nebuchadnezzar II conquer most of the Middle East, including the land of Israel and the Jews, and they push the Jews into exile in Babylon, where we lived for less than 50 years. Because in 539 B.C., Cyrus II, the emperor of the Achaemenid or Persian Empire, he defeats the descendants of Nebuchadnezzar in battle, a hapless guy named Nabonidus, and he takes most of their possessions, including the land of Israel. But he has a different view of all of this, reflected on the Cyrus Cylinder, which you may have heard of, very famous archeological object, which corroborates what the Book of Ezra says, that he sent all of the people he had conquered back to their homelands to rebuild their temples and to reinstitute their sacred cults. That's what he did with the Jews. That's what the Book of Ezra tells us. And by the tens of thousands, the Jews went back to Jerusalem and rebuilt the temple, what we call the Second Temple, which is the same temple where 600 years later, the Romans would destroy it and the Parapet Stone would fall, which said, "To the place of trumpeting." All of it is connected. And so why is that important when it comes to testing the DNA? Because remember what I told you, the DNA shows that those Jews from Iran and Iraq are the furthest removed. Why? Because the Bible tells us and the archeological record tells us, and in fact, the Talmud tells us, there are two Talmuds, one from Israel, one from Babylon, that some percentage of the Jews, some say as many as half or more, said, "Oh, we're doing pretty well here in Cyrus' Persia. We're not going back." And they stayed. They wrote the Babylonian Talmud. They built vibrant Jewish communities in Iran and Iraq, many of which stayed undisturbed until the 1960s when most Jews were pushed out of the Middle East and fled to Israel. On the other hand, the Jews that left and rebuilt the Second Temple, they spread all throughout the world after the destruction of the Second Temple by the Romans in 70 AD. They formed the Jewish communities we know today in America, South America, Europe. So all those Jewish communities are closely tied with one another because they're descended from the Jews that went back. And what do the DNA tests show? Not just that all the other major Jewish populations of the world are more closely linked than they are to the Iranian-Iraqi Jews, but that the time where the DNA split between all the other Jewish populations of the world and the Persian-Jewish population was between 100-150 generations ago. This is how we use evidence, logic, and law to deconstruct a false claim about Israel.

The first false claim about Israel that I address in my forthcoming book, Israel on Trial: Examining the History, the Evidence, and the Law, is that Jews are colonizers in the land of Israel. What's the legal principle here? A man cannot trespass into his own home. So, whose home is it? The book in chapter one deals with the colonialist claim by outlining three different kinds of evidence outside of the Bible. Why three different kinds of evidence? Because in the courtroom we tell the jurors that one kind of evidence is good, two kind of evidence is great, three kinds of evidence—if they're independent and they didn't know each other and their incentive structure is such that they're not incentivized to create a story, and they intersect and corroborate one another—that means a great deal. So, what are the three pieces of evidence that we know can have no perverse incentive in this case? 1. Rocks in the ground, archeology from thousands of years ago. 2. Words on the page, documentary proof from hundreds or thousands of years ago. 3. And blood in the veins, DNA evidence that cannot be misconstrued. Let's go through a couple examples: 1. Josephus, the ancient historian of the first century, Jewish general turned priest turned Roman historian for the Emperor Vespasian, he writes, just like the Bible does, that in the temple in Jerusalem, there was a place with a stone that directed the priests where to walk on top of the parapet in order to trumpet to the citizenry in Jerusalem that the Sabbath/Shabbat was here, every Friday night, and that the Sabbath/Shabbat had closed every Saturday evening. And he tells us what it said in Hebrew: "To the place of trumpeting." And that there was no arrow, okay, the priests weren't stupid, but that was what it said in the stone. 2. Can we corroborate what Josephus wrote? Folks, the Israel Antiquities Authorities has recovered not one, but two such stones. You can see them for yourselves on the internet. They're amazing, because the stone itself is blemished, but the actual Hebrew writing is not only intact, but so crisp and clear and unambiguous that even my children, who are Jewish Day School, can read it today, 2,000 years later. And in Hebrew letters, those rocks on the ground, corroborating the words on the page say, "To the place of trumpeting." By the way, again, when we scrutinize incentives, these stones were written and they were placed thousands of years ago, long before there was ever such a thing as a Palestinian, long before there was ever such a thing as Muslim Arabs. Islam, remember, wasn't created until 610 AD. Muhammad himself isn't born until 570 AD. That means he is born exactly 500 years, to the letter, after the temple on which this stone was placed was destroyed. On 23rd October, I testified in front of the Jury of Conscience in the context of the Gaza Tribunal. My speech focused on the economic forces underpinning the genocide of the Palestinian people. Here it is: My name is Yanis Varoufakis. I am an economist, a politician and activist representing Greece’s MeRA25 as well as the paneuropean radical movement DiEM25, and I am here in my capacity as an expert on the manner in which capitalist dynamics are fuelling and reinforcing the Genocide of the Palestinian people. Today, with a view to assisting the jury to reach an informed verdict, I shall address the economic forces underpinning the complicity of global capital in, initially, the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians and, more recently, their genocide. The jury should want to keep in mind that genocide pays. And, I shall be arguing later, it pays a great deal more now that a new form of capital is involved in its execution. To begin, the jury should want to acknowledge that capitalism thrives on human misery and in sheer destruction. There is, therefore, no paradox in the fact that, at a time when demand, production and consumer confidence are falling precipitously in Israel, the Israeli Stock Exchange not only did not fall since the Gaza genocide began but in fact it rose by more than 160%. This reflects the underlying Political Economy of Occupation and, in particular, the manner in which thousands of Israeli companies are intertwined with US, European and Korean mega-corporations – including the world’s weightiest financial conglomerates – comprising an international network that kicked into overdrive after October 2023. The moment the Israeli defence budget doubled, it crowded in large ‘investments’ into Israel’s killing machine. For more detailed information on this, the jury should take into account the Report to the United Nations published by Francesca Albanese, the UN’s Special Raporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories entitled ‘From Economy of Occupation to Economy of Genocide’. Of course, none of this is new. History teaches us that economic interests have been key drivers and enablers of colonial enterprises and often of the genocides they perpetrated. The corporate sector has been intrinsic to colonialism since its inception, with corporations – beginning with the Dutch and British East India Companies – historically contributing to the violence against, the exploitation, and ultimately the dispossession of Indigenous people and lands, a mode of domination known as racial colonial capitalism. Israel’s colonization of the occupied Palestinian lands could not have been an exception. The jury should be aware of the manner in which Palestine today demonstrates all three phases of colonial expropriation: First came the phase of unsophisticated expropriation – the brutal plunder of land and the conversion of indigenous people into cheap or even slave labour. That phase, which led to the rise of capitalism in the 18th Century, was evidenced in Palestine since the Balfour Declaration and, much more so, during and in the aftermath of the Nakba. Palestinian land was brutally expropriated and Palestinians either turned into refugees or encased in Bantustans which ended up, until at least the second intifada, providing cheap labour to the colonisers. The second phase of modern colonialism, also known as neoimperialism, did not so much concern the plunder of land as it was intended to secure markets for the surplus commodities of the capitalist metropoles that the capitalist metropoles could not absorb domestically due to insufficient domestic demand. This neoimperialist dimension also made its appearance in Palestine in connection to the plight of the Palestinian people as Israel began to absorb massive quantities of weaponry imported from the US, Germany and UK, thus contributing significantly to the aggregate demand in those countries. More recently still, the Israeli arms manufacturers have managed to enter this game as exporters – by exporting hi-tech weaponry tried and tested on the Palestinian population to foreign countries, including (shamefully) my own country, Greece, but Arab countries too. The third phase of contemporary capital accumulation feeding expropriation at home and colonialism abroad, is the one I refer to as the technofeudal phase – a phase underpinned by the accumulation of a new, radical form of capital which I have called cloud capital. The jury will want to note that cloud capital is a network of machines (comprising phones, tablets, servers and algorithms) which does something remarkable: we train it to train us to train it to know us well and, eventually, manipulate our behaviour and, therefore, giving the owners of this cloud capital exorbitant powers to do things to us against our will in their interest. In this context, the jury should want to take into account the fact that no country has given as much access to a population’s biometric data as Israel has given to IBM. Since the Gaza genocide began, Microsoft, Amazon, Alphabet and Palantir have been expanding their cloud capital penetration at a breathtaking pace. Face recognition software, target selection algorithms and automated execution systems are being tested in real time, at will, and with fewer ethical constraints than in the case of experiments on laboratory rats. America’s Big Tech could not be happier. War, ladies and gentlemen, was always lucrative. Arms dealers made fortunes from supplying weapons to the highest bidder. Indirectly, all sorts of capital – including capital that produced consumer goods – accumulated faster at times of war and destruction. But, in this technofeudal age, cloud capital accumulates new powers in the battlefields directly by improving its algorithms’ capacity to understand and to manipulate humans. Nothing helps cloud capital improve its efficiency than the real time experience of monitoring and manipulating the behaviour of combatants, of target-selectors, of the politicians that enable these target-selectors and, yes, tragically, of the population targeted for annihilation. The jury should, therefore, be aware of the fact that today’s AI-targeting devices that maximise death and destruction in Gaza will tomorrow morning power up the Amazon or Google or Microsoft algorithms which make us buy stuff we neither need nor want; which poison our conversations in our social media; that drive increasingly dispossessed proletarians, drivers, nurses and warehouse workers. In other words, I call upon the jury to note that what is happening in Palestine, the unfolding ethnic cleansing and genocide, is totally intertwined with the forms of exploitation and the toxification of our social milieu in the rest of the world. In this sense, yes, our freedom in the rest of the world is utterly intertwined with the liberation of Palestinians from colonialism, expropriation, fear and manipulation. To conclude, I would like to thank the jury for its important work and to implore its members to pay attention to the manner in which capitalist dynamics, especially those underpinning the reproduction of cloud capital, are fuelling and reinforcing the Genocide of the Palestinian people.

If you take a movement to unpack this visualization... You'll see how it simply breaks down how reality works. At frame 0 you have a static image. Everything is one, this is the monad. As soon as you hit frame 1 there is movement, there is change. Now you have two states, moving, or static. When Nikola Tesla says you can explain everything in frequency and vibration. The difference between frame 0 and 1, is vibration. The difference between movement and no movement. This is like binary logic we use in code which is made up of 0's and 1's. After frame 1, is when frequency emerges. Because the difference between frame 1 and all frames after is about how fast is the vibration/movement happening. If we skip forward to frame 50... You have a shape that begins to emerge, this is the 8 dots, then the 6 dots. Notice how unstable it is, it's 8 dots, then 6, then a moment with 4 in a rectangle These shapes are emergent properties. The first two emergent properties after the monad was vibration and frequency. Next comes shape (i'm skipping over rotation and direction). These shapes of dots can only exist when you have frequency and rotation. This frequency and rotation creates vortex energy. It's the same energy that things like your chakras use. Or the same energy we harness in devices like engines, airplanes, fans, blenders, hard drives, etc. It's also the same vortex energy you'll see in a tornado or hurricane. They are powered because they harness rotation and frequency(change/movement). Going back to the video, notice that it is inside the entire shape, the internal structure is manifesting before the external structure does. Then around frame 60 the hexagon of circles begins to rotate. First it was the two dots that moved and now it's a complex shape that is coming to life. This is a higher dimension (or lower depending on how you look at it) manifesting into existence. The internal state is "awakening" and experiencing it's own change like what happened to the whole shape in the first frames. But it is unstable. That's why it doesn't persist for long. If you think of the 8 dots being the octahedron, they map to the element of air. Air is in the material world, but it is not something you can see. The brief moments the 8 dots are visible is similar to that effect. They are only experienceable between a small frequency band of frames. Now here's where stability begins to appear in the internal structure. This is when the 4 dots appear. You'll see that the four dots, the square, is stable and persists the most visibly for the most amount of frames. The square represents earth in the platonic solids to elements mapping. Earth, is material, it's stable. We build our buildings in squares and with earth because it is a solid shape to build on. This visualization shows you why. Across different vibrations (frame rates) it can self sustain. Between this point and frame 180, you'll see a new emergent property. Which is depth. A new dimension is introduced at around frame 90 but really becomes visible at around frame 110. You can see a foreground and background. There is the shape of the dots, but also the triskellion wave happening in the background. Let's jump to frame 180. Notice how it is the same as frame 0 except... It's flashing. If you were paying attention, you'll notice you could see flashing at frame 90 and frame 120, but they didn't persist for long. At around 150 it started to reach stability and 180 it was solidified. Between frames 150 and 180 there is flashing, but the image is still moving. Only for a brief moment at frame 180 is the movement frozen and the flashing persists. Think of that like your computer screen. It's what your screen is doing right now as you read this. Even tho the text isn't moving, the screen is flashing at 60 or 120hz. The images appear on your device because this flashing brings things to life. The entire material realm and your physical body right now, is doing the same thing. While you look solid... You're flashing in and out of existence at very high frequencies. You can look at frame 180 and frame 0 as the same essence but it is the mid point between an octave change. In the video, the ying and yang was vertical, now it is horizontal. This is a phase shift. If you notice at exactly frame 180, the rotation freezes and then the direction of rotation changes. The process then repeats all the way to frame 360 but in the opposite sequence. Once it reaches frame 360, that is an octave change and the process repeats. Each time you repeat the process is a layering of the same patterns into higher octaves. This is the same as your chakras or how other things work. They are like russian nesting dolls where every octave is layering onto the next. The complexity of your body is a layering of basic principles that emerged in earlier stages. Your organs are built of systems that are built with cells that are built with proteins that are built with atoms and so on. The atoms, work just like your body at a basic level. Your body works just like the galaxies. At each level you'll have the same pattern. This is where the idea "As Above, So Below" from. The monad, splits in two, and so on and so on. One cell, splits into two through mitosis in the same logic. We could spend all day going through examples of how biology, physics, spirituality, etc. aren't really different. They are just categories that we use to dissect these frequencies and octaves of energy but they only start paying attention within the confines of materialism. The problem is, none of the sciences start at the root patterns. Because that is reserved for religion or spirituality. It's too woo-woo to take seriously so it's dismissed. And because of that... We're left ignorant on the simple explanations for how things work. Now you need some expert with tools you don't have access to in order to explain things.
