The only problem is russian ballistic missiles. “The Shaheed drones downing rate is high: at 92% We've got serious takedown results for cruise missiles too. I'm grateful to our air force, mobile fire groups, and anti-aircraft missile forces. They shot down all 6 russian Kalibr missiles, plus 31 out of 33 cruise missiles today. So, when the right protective measures are in place, our soldiers show truly high shootdown rates. And this alone explains the issue with ballistic missiles: there just aren't enough defensive systems. This is especially true for the Patriot missiles” - Ukrainian President on Monday, July 6, 2026.
