Munchousen Syndrome by proxy is a serious disease and these parents are willing to sacrifice their child rather than get the counseling they need.

More like child sacrifice. My God. I don't get it. How can any parent justify sterilizing their own child? Not only are you taking away their ability to reproduce, your probably eliminating any chance of them ever enjoying sexual activity. Pure evil.
