Eric Rohmer on the use of Colour in "La Collectionneuse" (1967) and "Claire's Knee" (1970): "I didn't use color as a dramatic element, as some filmmakers have done. For me it's something inherent in the film as a whole. I think that in 'La Collectionneuse' (1967) color above all heightens the sense of reality and increases the immediacy of the settings. In this film color acts in an indirect way; it's not direct and there aren't any color effects, as there are for example in Bergman's most recent film, his second one in color, where the color is very deliberately worked out and he gets his effects mainly by the way he uses red. I've never tried for dramatic effects of this kind, but. for example, the sense of time-evening, morning, and so on-can be rendered in a much more precise way through color. hanbin's tmi is talking about his lightstick at doyoung's concert ofc 😭 HE IS SO CUTE 💙 🐹 ah! i went to nct sbn doyoung's concert right~ 🐹 the lightstick was not one which sm ent gave out to me at the concert venue, but one that i brought myself! 🐹 but only mine wasn't compatible 🐹 so everyone's lightsticks were going red and green... but only mine was coming out blue! 🐹 i thought "why is that?" and manager hyung said "ah the reason why only yours isn't connecting is because it has to be one given out here" 🐹 i didn't know~! bc it was my first time going to the concert. 🐹 suddenly a blue light came out and i was like "ZEROSE???!" 🐹 i thought about zerose~ 💙

Steve Wozniak tells the founding story of Apple and how he invented color on the computer Today Apple is valued at almost $3 trillion. But as Woz recounts, they got started selling $40 PC kits to hobbyists: “I had this computer, and I was giving away all the designs for free. Steve Jobs said ‘Wow, we should sell these PC boards. Build them for $20, sell it for $40.’” To fund the company, both Steves had to come up with a couple hundred bucks each, and Woz sold the most valuable thing he owned: his HP 65 calculator. The first PC boards were impressive—they could actually run software and programs. So impressive that the owner of a local electronics store placed an order for the first batch of Apple Is. But their second product—the Apple II—was their real breakout product, and one of the killer features was color. At the time, color only existed on TVs that cost thousands of dollars. But Woz figured out a way to get color on the Apple II with only a $1 chip. The idea for it came to a sleep-deprived Woz who was working on an arcade game for Atari that Jobs convinced him they could build in 4 days even though building an arcade game normally took six months: “I was in a dreamy state. You know when you lose sleep how you get a little creative thinking?… While my head was sort of half awake and half asleep, I saw this thing on the factory floor of Atari. All the games were black and white TVs, but this one game was going back and forth, changing color… I remember how the frequencies go from high school electronics. And then I came up with this method of taking a little chip and putting ones and zeros in it, and cycling around… I could make it look like color TV.” After building the first Apple II prototype, Woz recounts typing something in memory and a blue dot popping up on the screen: “I called Steve Jobs over and that was a Eureka moment. We were shaking. This was so big. All the colored games are now going to be on computers… That was probably my best patent… That’s why we chose a six color logo for our first logo for Apple. We were the ones that brought color because nobody would’ve ever expected color on an affordable computer… That was so far ahead of its time.”

I wish I had a bigger chance to reach more people. I stopped talking about many of the things now trending around $WLFI a long time ago, because only very few ppl were listening. 3 or 4 of my tweets went viral, especially the ones about the Binance and CZ ties and the broader $WLFI and USD1 / MGX / Dubai involvement, but the moment I stopped talking about it, everything went quiet again. Better late than never. It is sad that most people only understand it once it is already too late. There is not much more I can say about it.

Why isn't it red? And the reason is, is because the only way to keep it red is as they pump gases into the packaging that artificially create a red color. So the meat naturally is never that red. When you cut it and it's first exposed to oxygen momentarily, it will bloom. It's called, it'll redden up just a little bit and then it'll instantly start to brown out unless you pump gases into the packaging for about 10 minutes and artificially create this like red pinkish color. So we get that question a lot. And it's like, they're like, your meat's not fresh because it's brown. It's like, well, actually it's way fresher. Our meat is brown because five minutes later, it turns to that brown color and then we flash freeze it. So you're like eating meat that's like metabolic at five minutes old versus that red fresh meat in the grocery store might be a month old. And it sat like that, but they're using artificial gases in that packaging to crea completely unnatural. — If your packaged meat then it is it is filled w to create that. It doesn' look like that. But like believe it or not, it's been sitting out for 11 days. So how could it still look so fresh? It's because it's being packed and gassed in a special process that most people never heard about, using carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and nitrogen, which keeps the meat looking fresh and bright red. We left two cuts of lamb out at room temperature. One was gas packed, the other, no gas. After a few days, the untreated meat turns a dark, unappealing color. But the gas-packed meat stays red, even after being left out for eight days. The only visible sign of spoilage is the package puffing out and a bad odor when opened. One of my favorite things about Donnie that I don’t think gets talked about enough is the amount of care and compassion he had for The Pulverizer. Donnie spent so much time and effort trying to save him, which really shows how good of a person he truly is.

Ariel Helwani: I never said you can't apologize. I never said I wanted the hate to keep going. In fact, we were the ones saying we didn't want the hate to begin with...My single issue and no one is addressing this is the fact that in the immediate aftermath...we did it to sell the fight. That's not an apology. There's no honor in that. There's no honor in taking a fight to the gutter just to sell the fight...I was the one saying the trash talk had no place in the buildup. These are two great fighters and conveniently no one's bringing up the fact that I praised Sean Strickland so very much about his fighting ability. Which just goes to show everyone only cares about the drama. They don't care about the actual sport analysis. But, my issue has always been, you told us that you did this to sell the fight. Not that you had some sort of epiphany. Not that you had some sort of conversation and you realized the things that you said about these people were heinous. No, it was all to sell the fight. I don't think that there is honor in that. #HelwaniShow

🦋 so with my same-age friend, jeongwoo, we said we'd try to make it to diamond, and we played together. but it ended kind of awkwardly 👤 what about that friend? 🦋 that friend? i think he made it all the way to master? Huh? i'm not sure. i don't know how far he got. 👤 wsn't that frustrating? 🦋 no, but why did he get so high up? that guy is seriously all about that one thing. when he gets hooked on something...i want to do other things too, but he literally sits in a dark room like this, with one leg up, and just plays like that. so he got that far because that's the only thing he does 👤 so it's all about passion? 🦋 ah, i guess i'm the one who's lacking passion 👤 ah, so for him it's hard work, and talent-wise you're about the same? 🦋 yeah, our talent is probably about the same.i still can't really accept that he's that much better than me #하루토 #박정우
