It all started about 20 years ago. I used to see this older gentleman at a coffee shop, always meeting with young men, and it left an impression on me. “Charlie knew what the job consisted of—traveling, working 80 hour weeks…No way would he want his wife to do that.” It’s so dishonest to pretend Erika is doing everything Charlie did. She’s not. She’s not hosting his radio show/podcast. She’s not doing every campus tour stop or doing any tour stop single-handedly and alone. She’s not influencing and posting videos on social media. Who knows what other tasks Charlie had that she’s not doing behind the scenes? And the point here isn’t that she lazy; the point is she is DELEGATING in a way Charlie did not. We have evidence of that. We have no reason to believe she’s never with or even mostly not with her children.

This is why Charlie Kirk was so effective with the younger generation. He was authentic. Today you have a bunch of demons, walking around peddling some perverse version of Christianity that has absolutely nothing to do with Christ or the Bible or any of the incredible happy, joyous things that the gospel’s teach us. All you have is conspiracy and hatred and poisonous fruit. That is not going to end well for the people who consume it because they will be very confused about what it actually means to be a Christian.

Did he tell Charlie to shut up about the Afghanistan withdrawal because “he wasn’t there, so he doesn’t know”? Something tells me the answer is no. Just because you’re now part of the official narrative doesn’t mean you get to demand people stop doing their jobs. That’s not how this works.
