⭕️ Secretary Rubio on Gaza Ceasefire: Rubio says the US, the G7, and regional partners are working on a new draft for the UN Security Council resolution establishing the International Stabilization Force (ISF). He says progress is “optimistic,” but complex, because many countries have specific security and political conditions. He stresses the ISF should not be a fighting force, because the ceasefire agreement already requires the demilitarization of Hamas. But it will need to provide day-to-day security in Gaza’s areas not under Israeli control to enable: – a large humanitarian surge, – reconstruction, – and civilian governance. Rubio says the yellow line will eventually disappear because “none of Gaza should remain under Hamas control.” The goal, he says, is a civilian Palestinian authority that governs all of Gaza once the ISF stabilizes the environment. Gaza’s government includes roughly 17,000 police officers who have been providing civilian security throughout the genocide — and who have been systematically targeted by Israel. Senior resistance figures, including Hamas’ Mousa Abu Marzouk, warn that any attempt to sideline or dismantle this police force, like U.S. did in Iraq, would trigger chaos and could even spark civil war. They argue it would undermine basic security in Gaza and ultimately destabilize the situation for Israel as well.

⭕️ Turkish FM: “Big Discussion” is Underway to Decide ISF Plan for Gaza Turkey’s foreign minister Hakan Fidan told ‘Doha Forum 2025’ that major decisions regarding deployment of the UN-approved International Stabilization Force (ISF) for Gaza are currently taking place. He stressed the need to stay “realistic and nuanced” about what the mission can deliver. ▪️ Fidan says the first objective should be straightforward: “separating Israelis and Palestinians along the border line” (the yellow line) to stabilize the area. ▪️ He outlines early ISF design questions that are a “big challenge” on the table for mediators and partners in the arrangement: “The formation of ISF, which countries will be contributing, what will be the command structure, what will be the logistics.” ▪️ He reiterated that realities on the ground must shape all decisions. “You have to be realistic,” he says, adding that “thousands of details” will ultimately fall to military commanders. ▪️This comes as Israel demands a force to disarm the Palestinian resistance, but the rumored contributing countries to the ISF have all reportedly rejected that idea because it would involve direct conflict with the Palestinian side. 🇺🇸🇮🇱🇹🇷 The exclusion of Israel (not Turkey) from the US Central Command-led talks in Qatar today on the international stabilization force (ISF) in Gaza is what surprises me... 🇮🇱🪖 There is no chance for achieving any stability in Gaza without Israel's involvement and appropriate coordination with the ISF's foreign troops. 🇪🇬 Egypt, which may most likely be the leader of the ISF, is doing all it can to make sure the gate of hill (that is, Gaza) will not open into Sinai, especially after the clan clashes that led to the killing of Abu Shabab and involved family members from the Tarabine Tribes in Sinai. 📺 Watch my interview with Laura Cellier on i24NEWS English about this here:

⚠️ Hamas has not disarmed yet, has not delivered the bodies of all the deceased Israeli hostages, and is hosted in Cairo to negotiate the future of Gaza! 👉 That is a clear manipulation of the 20-point Peace Plan, not only by Hamas, but also by Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey, that the U.S. Administration should not allow. 👉 Jordan's King Abdullah's statement that the International Stabilization Force (ISF) in Gaza should be a "peacekeeping" rather than a "peace-enforcing" force is also contradictory to what was agreed with U.S. President Trump at the Sharm el-Sheikh Summit two weeks ago and to points 15, 16, 17 of the peace plan which clearly says the mission of the ISF is to establish "control and stability" so the IDF can withdraw from the strip. 👉 The intentional absence of Arab Gulf countries, especially Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, from this conversation should be a matter of concern. 📺 I discussed this👆 and Egypt's involvement in the search for hostage bodies in Gaza today with @laura_i24 on i24NEWS English.
