When Trump told him that he really needed a temporary cease fire, Putin responded by bombing the hell out of Ukraine. He did agree to a cease fire for Energy Infrastructure just days after a massive attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. Never before has Trump looked more like a pathetic, weak, PAB!

And the way that these things work is that the longer that it goes on, the popularity goes down, not up over time. And that is a calamity for the Republican party. But that's not what's important right now. What's important is that it's a calamity for the United States of America, for our national security, for our alliances abroad, for putting our troops in danger with no clear strategy of what achieves a victory and how to get them out of there. And then they said, oh, yeah, we're totally against Nato troops in Ukraine. So the two big deliverables out of this meeting, Russia has already rejected, which kind of gets to the core of the issue, which is president trump said 50 times today that he believes Putin wants peace. And I don't know, call me skeptical. I don't think that's true. I just don't buy it. And I'm basing that on all the evidence. And that's what you see those European leaders doing. They're testing that. They're saying to president trump, if he gives you a cease fire, then maybe he's serious. And if he doesn't, then he's not serious. And that's what's really going on.
