U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East and Asia has long been shaped by strategic interests, including military influence, oil, and regional power. There are also serious debates and allegations about Western involvement surrounding the fall of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and Ayatollah Khomeini’s return from France. Claims such as the U.S. paying Khomeini $16 million in 1977 should be backed by credible historical evidence before being presented as fact. The same applies to 9/11: questioning U.S. foreign policy is legitimate, but speculation should not be confused with established evidence. History is complicated enough without misinformation from either side. Instead of spreading hatred, we should question powerful governments, examine the evidence, and seek the truth—even when that truth challenges what we already believe.
